We stoopped in for lunch and a taste flight. We each ordered something completely different; the briskat sandwhich, the Spicy Buffalo Chicken dip, the Beef Barley Soup and the Mango Chicken flatbread. The food was fantastic, flavourfull and ample portions. My hasband served with the regiment here back inthe 80' s and enjoyed the trip down memory lane. The beer... More

Arrived into Calgary and our friend made this our first stop. I am glad she did. Beer was great (and I am not a craft beer snob) and the food was outstanding. I had the Vietnamese sub with bison. The right mixture of bread, bison, sauce and fresh garnishments...OUTSTANDING. My friend had the pulled bison on the pretzel bun, this... More

Been here a few times but didn't want to share the find because it is just so good. Excellent brews from their own brewery at the back end of an old military Nissen hut in the south west of Calgary. Excellent beer. Food (chef Robert Bellavance) is plentiful and outstanding. Can't think of a better place to spend a sunny... More

Wonderful brewpub in the old Calgary military barracks. A little hard to find but well worth it. Barrack Brown was amazing and the nachos are in my top five. Not for the fine dining crowd. Picnic benches and barstools.

My friends and I frequently head to the Brewery to celebrate birthdays or just to grab a casual beer. The food is good, but the beer is better. It's also in a neat location at Currie Barracks, and has an industrial feel.

When looking for places to visit on our vacation, my husband and I were excited to visit WR Brewery. Many year round beers as well as seasonal beers. The sampler tray was huge! 8 different beers and 5 oz pours! That's not the way we do samplers in America and my husband was totally ok with that! He was impressed... More

Four of us went for lunch and enjoyed all of our meals. I had the Wild Rose version of a Montreal smoked meat sandwich and very much liked the way they did it! A regular bun and melted cheese was unusual compared to Dunn's but it was very tasty. I added a beet salad which was also very good. One... More

Interesting location in the old army barracks, retains its vintage charm with old photos and memorabilia and an extensive collection of unique beer bottles. More of a pub than restaurant but offers good food and great craft beer. We had no trouble getting a table on a Friday night (they don't take reservations on the weekends). Very friendly and knowledgable... More

Always a new beer on tap/cask. It is often busy, but staff is always willing to go the extra mile. Kitchen staff is excellent and their fare is always a delight. The patio is a simple oasis. If CLC knocks this place down, they are morons. History, culture, community, academia, and beer. Some call it "heaven".

This small brewery and taproom offers an excellent selection of their own craft brews. The food they serve is not your ordinary taproom fare and everything we tried was excellent.
