Was at the Post with colleagues last week, and we had the privilege of enjoying the chef's six-course tasting menu in the dining room. Every dish was outstanding, the wine pairings matched phenomenally, and the pacing was perfect. Our server was also kind enough to give us an after-dinner peek at the wine cellar. Even if you're not staying at... More

We had the best meal of our trip at this lovely hotel restaurant. We loved the atmosphere which was cozy and classy at the same time. Beautiful flowers decorate the lobby, bar, and restaurant. We had great drinks at the Sir Norman lounge by the fireplace prior to dinner. Food was excellent with very attentive and personable service. Walk around... More

the restaurant is part of the beautiful and luxurious POST hotel which has a Swiss magnet The staff is very friendly, the food very good, we had a really very good evening, outside the excellent cuisine, there is also a good and excellent wine list. Despite that this hotel and restaurant belongs to the upper class, the owners still come... More

From the moment we arrival for dinner (with reservations), both my wife and I felt we were being rushed. We were greeted and seated immediately. We were asked would we like a drink before dinner and we said yes. Our drinks arrived almost immediately (like they knew what we would order). Then, we were immediately asked for our dinner order... If you decide to stay here, then you should take the time to enjoy it. If you leave early in the morning and return late in the day, you could stay in a less expensive hotel.

We stopped for lunch. We had stayed here several years ago. First class hotel. Lunch was very good. Service by Darcy was excellent. Very good spot. I recommend it.

This hotel is perfection. The professionalism of lobby and wait staff is palpable. White table cloth dining but no snobbery here....more like a Swiss chalet with warm welcoming dining. The meals were exceptional and were all individually prepared with skill and attention to detail. All four of us diners agreed to return for dinner...can't wait.

My wife and I spent four nights in gorgeous Lake Louise at the elegant Fairmont with stunning views of the lake and mountains surrounding those turquoise waters. We dined at the Lago and Fairview at the hotel, the restaurant at Deer Woods and the restaurant at the Post Hotel. Our experience at the Post blew the rest away. Our waiter... More

We had breakfast at the hotel restaurant on our last day. Service was impeccable! I had some sort of scramble served over hash browns (sorry don't recall the name). Reservations are suggested in the evening and I believe there may be a dress code for dinner.

What a disappointment. We booked a table for three early August, received an email confirmation of a table with a view a few days later, for a booking September 17. We were greeted by a cranky man on the desk and shown a table just inside the entrance, possibly the worst table in the restaurant, we complained and were moved... More
