Very elegant restaurant with all the trimmings. Attentive waiter. Extensive wine list. Creative menu with lots of choices. Salads were bursting with flavor to prepare you to enjoy the mains. My wife had the Roasted Rabbit with polenta which we both thoroughly enjoyed. My Veal with homemade pasta with mushroom sauce was equally inviting. Desert menu looked also inviting, but... More

Fabulous place on the river. Stayed here two nights. Well worth the $315 or so per night. MUCH nicer than the higher priced Fairmont in Lake Louise

My wife and I celebrated our 20th anniversary at the restaurant. They took our booking via email which was appreciated given the 15 hour time difference. I must say that the service was truly excellent and everything was taken care of. We had good advice on which wine and food to order. The wine and food were excellent, we particularly... More

We stayed in three hotels and this one is known for its restaurant. There is train noise, but with windows closed one does not notice it

Lovely quiet hotel with beautiful rooms, gorgeous food and minutes away from the crazy crowds at lake Louise. Should reserve dinner in advance. Breakfast also excellent and lovely little touches like aveda toiletries!

Even though I've only been there for breakfast, I will be back for lunch or dinner soon. The food was excellent, as were the choices. There was a buffet set up and still had a la carte choices. I had eggs and duck sausage. well priced too. The service was excellent, professional yet friendly. White table clothes on tables, little... More

When Michelin reviewers decide to come to Canada, it will be worth their while to visit the restaurant at Post Hotel. The owners' passion for exquisite food and wine exudes in the repasts prepared by their talented chef. Must try- the miso marinated black cod, the buttery lobster with tagliatelle, the very tender caribou, to name a few. The 25,000-bottle... More

What attracted me to come to this restaurant is its 2015 Wine Spectator Grand Award and its excellent ratings by TripAdvisor reviewers. It is indeed an excellent restaurant. My wife and I both had the cream of zucchini soup and Alberta range-fed Angus beef tenderloin. The waiter recommended the Hess Collection 19 Block Napa Valley wine. It matches the food... More
