We had a good dinner consisting of poutine (we liked it better than the version we had at Mountain Lodge, better cheese curds?) chicken club with salad, and a massive bowl of chili that needed a touch more seasoning. Service was good.

Nothing exciting here. But in Lake Louise there is not much choice at a reasonable price. We ate twice. Selection was ok. Food decedent but nothing unusual. Second time service was slow but we arrived with some amount of breakfast traffic. Basic breakfast of eggs, bacon, toast and potatoes was comparable to my minimum expectations for a decent breakfast.

After a few overpriced and underwhelming meals on our trip, it was nice to finally have a decent meal. The service was friendly, as was the atmosphere. The food was very tasty and value for money. Definitely a good decision not to eat in our hotel!

Not too many places to eat in Lake Louise that can boast an inexpensive menu, but this place can. Situated across the road from where we were staying, so convenient. Is part of the backpackers hostel, but open to the public.

Wasn't expecting much from this hostel-bound restaurant, but it turned out to be fantastic! They have beef, bison and elk burgers, Asian-inspired foods, wraps, many kinds of pasta. It's decently priced for an in-park dinner. We had a short wait for a table at 7 pm but we're glad we waited.

Great casual breakfast in a simple decor, clean and bright . It is located in a hostel just across from the Post Hotel. Service friendly .

Visited here for dinner after consulting trip advisor. We ordered 2 x chicken curries and they arrived smelling divine. Fresh chicken and plenty of veg including peppers, carrots and mange tout. My husband followed this up with a huge helping of lemon meringue pie but I was stuffed! Decent beer and cider served too.

3 out of 4 really liked our food. The other said his was okay. We got in and out pretty quick. The waitress was helpful--we asked questions about hiking etc. Medium priced.

Thank Laurie M
