We were impressed by the food and the service. You can't beat their prices in the very expensive town of Banff.

Long story short - we parked at the wrong trailhead and couldn't actually ride the bus where we thought we could. So we thought we'd have a rest at Tommy's before finding our way back to the car. Beer was good, atmosphere was good - typical pub - but the bartender seemed troubled by our presence and was less than... More

We eat at Tommy's every time we're in Banff. Great food with dependable service. The place is always busy ,but you never leave unsatisfied. I recommend the deep fried pickles!

Stopped in after a great day of sightseeing !! Great decor and the food was excellent! Good steak sandwiches. My wife had the quesidellas and they were big , no scrimping in the ingredients ! Excellent place for a quick bite!

Lively bar that also serves food. If you are looking for a good drink it's an excellent place. For food it is only OK if there are no culinary standards to be met and you just want to be fed.

Not sure if this is a bar or a restaurant. We had Shepard's Pie and Lasagna. The lasagna was not heated as the middle was still cool. But large portions and the food was pretty good. The help is friendly. The place is noisy ...darts in back. Two of us with one beer was $38.

Nice pub. The staff are friendly and service is good. We didn't wait too long for our order. Good serving size for a hungry appetite. My only comment is that they used instant mash on their Shepherd's Pie. Don't get me wrong the pie still tasted good, but you can still tell if they made the mashed potato from scratch... More

Seeking inexpensive eats in pricey Banff proved challenging until we followed the chalkboard signage for Tommy's neighborhood pub a few steps below street level on Banff Ave it sits under the well appreciated moderate priced Greek restaurant. just steps from the center of bustling downtown Banff. Tommy's gets the outdoor café space for those remarkable days in Banff when the... More

When I saw pirogies on the menu,I had to eat at Tommy's. (It was a long time since I had pirogies since I live in Mexico.) When they brought them, I was stunned at how many there were! I usually eat 3-4, but there were 12 in a bowl! They were good, with a kind of sour cream dipping sauce,... More

I called Tommy's to ask what they planned to show on TV tonight. When I asked if it was possible to put something on HBO on one of the screens, they were incredibly rude and patronising. It is fair to say we won't be going there.

Thank Tom R
