Came to this restaurant based on the seafood platter for 2. It did not disappoint! Was a gorgeous meal and the size of the platter was generous! Calimari, squid, mussels, prawns, crab legs and lobster tail! The staff were friendly and couldn't fault their service at all. Had a great evening here.

We've been to Banff many times, and always walked by the Maple Leaf. Based on consistently good reviews by friends, we thought we'd try it out this time. Boy, have we missed out! Both of our meals were very, very good, and the service was excellent! I had the duck and it was amazing. I can't remember what my husband... More

A really nice place in Banff. A good selection on the menu. We were a small group with lots of different eating habits and this place had a good choice for us all to choose from. The meals were well presented and great taste.

This restaurant is exactly what it bills itself to be. Good food in a great location. The seats downstairs are exceptionally comfortable. The view upstairs is exceptionally lovely. The food is less impressive than the view or seats, pleasing but ordinary. The filet of Alberta beef was tasty and tender, but not remarkable. The salmon was fresh but overcooked. The... More

Its good to find a high quality restaurant while in a tourist town. Food was very good, especially the Bison. Service very professional and nice touch with allowing me to try some wines before buying a bottle, especially good when you are confronted with a wine list that is very foreign. Its not cheap though, but worth a visit.

We by chance got a reservation for a large party less than 24 hours before meal. Food was good, and plentiful. Lots of options for the upscale pallet. There is a significant amount of local game meat. My recommendation is to try something new. It didn't disappoint me!

We decided to eat here whilst staying at The Mount Royal immediately opposite the restaurant. We were greeted as soon as we entered the establishment and seated at the bar whilst we waited for our table. Two wedding groups were in the restaurant for they wedding meal this must show that the locals obviously rate this eatery. We did not... More

We chose the Maple Leaf for our celebratory end-of-trip dinner and were not disappointed. After eating bland, salty and high-fat meals at some other Banff restraurants, we appreciated the subtle sauces and range of tastes at The Maple Leaf. The beet salad (appetiser) drew compliments from everyone who had it. The service was friendly, efficient and not too intrusive.
