Saintt James is a small place, just off Banff Avenue. We came across it somewhat by accident, and we are glad that we did, The Fish and Chips was well done, and a fairly tood portion. Our daughter (14) was comfortable there, and the service was quick and friendly. We'd return.

Prices are relative to other places in town. We found the Irish fare was mostly equal to what we had in Dublin 2015. Staff very friendly and professional

We were looking for a comfortable place and a good meal. We definitely found it. We had heard about poutine and were dying to try it. We were not disappointed. We loved it so much that we ordered it several more times on our trip, but this was the best we had anywhere. Our waiter was very friendly and patient... More

The food was good for pub food- it was exactly what you would expect. The service was excellent, the drinks were great, and it was a great start to our day.

Traditional dark Irish pub setting! The bruschetta was delicious but the tomato pepper soup needed pasta as it was overly thick and resembled spaghetti sauce. The roll on the side needed two people to pull apart. Very tough. The drinks and service were good. Maybe try the lamb stew next time.

Atmoshere is great, food is good, service was good considering the business they were doing. For an Irissh pub, I would give it an 8 out of ten.

The maple glazed salmon on a hearty salad made an excellent healthy dinner. My dining companion liked the shepherd's pie which came with a salad. The decor is charming and cozy and service was smart and prompt.

Good service and beers selection (it couldn't be different on a Pub). We ordered: tomato soup, burger, ceasar salad and mac'n cheese for our kid. Except for the burger, all it was good.

Built in Dublin, assembled in Banff - this is a genuine Irish pub. An extensive beer, whiskey, and scotch selection is offered. Traditional fish & chips and shepherd's pie proved to be tasty and ample. Prices ranged from $15 to $25. HD sports TV screens help one keep tabs on his team; live music is provided Thursday through Saturday evenings.

Thank Robyn S
