Melissa's MisSteak is a Banff original. It has great ambiance and a varied menu. They also have a patio. We enjoyed good food and service. It is on a side street off the main drag (Banff Ave.)

I ordered the rib eye steak but it was too fatty. Back home in Australia our rib eye steaks are like cutlets thick and juicy. The steak was far from thick or juicy but I did enjoy the steak. Our waitress who is an Aussie from Wollongong was outstanding! She made sure everything was ok and refilled our water glasses... More

I eat here a lot in summer when I live in Banff. Consistent good food and service! A gluten free breakfast menu is a bonus as I'm Celiac. Only drawbacks are its usually busy with a wait to get in, but that speaks to the great place! Oh, and I wish they had a seperate gluten free lunch & dinner... More

As a connossieur of eggs benedicts, I count theirs among the best. Simple and done right. Also had their French Onion Soup a couple of nights before and it was very onion-y, good cheese and delicious.

Have had breakfast there twice and it is great food and very reasonable. The staff is always friendly. The patio is a great morning place to enjoy the food and scenery.

I guess this place is a landmark, but more of a tourist spot than for a memorable meal. The menu is meat focused, but there are better steaks out there, and the salmon didn't look great. I had a decent cobb salad. For the most part, the food was pretty ordinary for the price. They do serve local beer in... More

Dry salmon disguised with bernaise sauce, overcooked steak, mushy baked potato, so-so trout. The wine list is minimal and poorly chosen. At least the whites I was looking over. The floor rocked under the chairs as the waiters raced by. But the beer is good and the service could not be faulted.

The service was excellent and Eggs benedict was amazing. They let us sit and visit through the rain and stay as long as we wanted.

Wishing we could use 1/2 points as I would have given this restaurant 3 1/2. We had made a reservation, were seated right away and attended to by our server, Sandy, within a couple of minutes. My bride ordered the Stroganoff and I had the New York Strip. Steak was cooked very close to how I ordered it and my... More

Ate here for breakfast and dinner. Split big breakfast entree with husband and ordered fresh banana French toast. Breakfast very good and ample portions served in timely manner. For dinner, ordered 2 lobster tails which were huge best I have eaten anywhere with all the sides. Chicken penna pasta was made fresh and loaded with chicken and mushrooms. Fast service... More
