There was a line of people outside the door, but I really wanted to try the Beavertail, which had been recommended to me. The wait was well worth it! I got the chocolate hazelnut beavertail. It was heavenly! I had no idea something so simple would taste so good! It's put in a double sided wrapper, but it can still... More

I hadn't had a beaver tail in many years and it was my girlfriend's first time. Our expectations for an evening beaver tail were high. We ordered the apple cinnamon tail and although served nice and warm, the filling was bland and it felt like all we could taste was the fried dough. Maybe another flavor would have been better?

We called in at Beavertails last week on our stay in Banff to try this unique sweet treat. It is like a long flat doughnut covered in toppings. I chose the peanut butter one. The first few mouthfuls were OK, but in the end it was just far too sickly sweet. Not my favourite thing to eat in Banff, and... More

Looking for a unique pastry treat this is it. You can choose from numerous toppings or choose a poutine or wrapped hot dog. Have gelato or other cold drink that they offer.

Tried beaver tails in Whistler last year and definitely wanted to visit again in Banff. Went on a busy Saturday, virtually no wait in line. The kids loved their beaver tails, be sure to ask for extra napkins. They also serve gelato and would recommend going here instead of the ice cream shop next door which had a line of... More

Went there on a hot Saturday and found a queue of about 30 people. It was moving slow and turned out half of the queue was for pickup. I needed to wait twice (order & receive). They are clearly not well prepared for such weekend crowd. The beaver tail was average. For me the same like a donaught but bigger.... More

We followed the trail to Beaver Tails as it was recommended that we try them. Beaver Tails are tasty but we would not want to eat too many. They are like a flat doughnut. The wait is a little longer than expected but we did enjoy them. I had the chocolate hazelnut and my husband had a cheese variety.

I split a beaver tail with my wife and it was pretty good. It took almost 15 minutes from the time we ordered until the pastry was ready, which was a lot longer than expected, but it was tasty and a fair price. There is also a nice selection of gelato, but we were in a rush and didn't have... More
