We had a superb evening at the Juniper Bistro. Not only were the views spectacular, the food was creative and delicious and our service was excellent. Our favourite was the beet salad and the vegetarian curry dish.

I really enjoyed our dinner at the Juniper Bistro. The service was good. The food was terrific -- good value for money. The views from inside were lovely. The patio looked nice but was closed due to weather when we visited.

The Juniper Bistro is a wonderful restaurant with beautifully prepared food at a very reasonable price. The views are great. The service was a little uneven but the wait staff was nice and eager to please. The only problem was that the vegetarian entree used fish stock. The waitress thought this was ok for those of us in the party... More

And only in the very best way. Excellent, thoughtful food, a cool and modern environment with splashes of local history, and fantastic craft cocktails. I felt a little like someone moved a restaurant from Brooklyn to the base of a mountain and I truly loved it. The food is somehow luxurious in presentation and flavor pairing, yet simple and very... We went for the appetizers at 3:00. The ribs are the best I have ever eaten, and the beet salad was amazing. Heather was super friendly and attentive. She even accommodated my request of a side of their tasty pickled vegetables. We sat outside on their amazing patio. We cannot wait to go back! See you soon!!

Came here for my birthday with 4 year old son and husband. While our main courses and starters tasted from very good to excellent, we were very disappointed that kids menu only contained 3 dishes which we consider to be junk food- mac and cheese, cheese grilled sandwich and one more item (possibly chicken nuggets). I cannot understand why children... More

Amazing! Glad we discovered this gem through trip advisor. It was a great experience for my friend and I. The view of an incoming storm from our window table was lovely, with sunshine in between rain showers highlighting the lake and the mountain views. The service was great and or server Max was able to answer our numerous questions about... More

We go to Banff several times a year and some of our old favourites have been getting old and we have been looking for a new "gem". We found it in the Juniper Bistro. Exceptional food, great presentation and good value. Not a large menu but interesting and unique items that were very well prepared. This restaurant will definitely be... More

Four people in our party, two of us had the game birds for two. The duck and chicken were very tender, plus the root vegetables were cooked well. Foie gras was a rich addition to the meal. Burger and lamb were both cooked very nicely. This restaurant has a great view of Banff and Lake Vermillon, which is a nice... More

Besides the good food that everyone has been talking about, I have to thank our server Danielle who served us during breakfast and dinner. She could remember our preference! Friendly service too.
