Everything was perfect! The food, atmosphere and service was exceptional. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here and thought the food was better than anywhere else we ate in Banff.

We went to the Juniper Bistro for my partner's birthday and absolutely loved this restaurant. The views are incredible, staff were lovely and food was delicious. I am vegetarian and my partner is a big meat/fish eater and there were options we both really enjoyed - so much so we went back again two days later!

Everything here was over-the-top perfect. The food, the service, the views. Thanks for the best dining experience we had on our Banff vacation.

We had breakfast and dinner here. Both meals were by far the best we had in Banff. The breakfast was especially inventive and delicious. The views are also phenomenal.

Great food. Great view. Had dinner and wine and highly recommend. Nothing else in Banff matched the quality and price . Loved the tomato salad and duck

Our group of 9 had a very positive experience. I was concerned that the atmosphere might be stuffy, but I was wrong. We dressed casually and did not feel at all out of place. We ordered a wide range of entrees at varying prices, and everyone was extremely satisfied. The drinks were great too, and I had a couple of... More

The dining room has a relaxing atmosphere and a beautiful view. We had an excellent turnip soup to start, the mackerel and gnocchi for mains and enjoyed everything. We also had an excellent server. In general the restaurants in Banff are very heavy on meat, and of the nicer restaurants, this had the most non-meat options. I would definitely recommend... More

My family of four dined at the Juniper Bistro during a vacation in Banff. Overall it was well worth the short trip from the Fairmont Banff Springs hotel. The menu choices were unique, but my two teenage boys commented that the portion sizes were small (and I would tend to agree). The restaurant was quite busy after we arrived, and... More

For the review surfer here is a summary. I wanted to love it. It is ranked #1 in Banff. I hated it. Menu was lovely. Beet salad arrived within 15 min of ordering and was delicious. Then an hour passed by...water and conversation dwindled. Food came with no apologies. Mackerel was way too salty. Sunchokes were either soft or raw.... More
