Sky Bistro is located in the new Banff Gondola summit building. Soar to the top of Sulphur Mountain in a gondola cabin to experience a stunning view of six incredible mountain ranges. Sky Bistro pairs the grandeur of the Rocky Mountains with a distinctly Canadian menu that features a handpicked selection of local meats, produce and ingredients. Raise a glass of craft beer from Banff or Canmore. Sip vodka and gin from Banff's only distillery. Taste fruits from farms across Alberta and B.C. and savour naturally-raised meats from Canmore and Central Alberta.

Last ride down the gondola is at closing time. I suggest emailing the Gondola to check closing time for your estimated dates of travel and plan accordingly - they will be informative and I am certain they would accommodate a local call for a cab request. Cabs are plentiful in Banff, but I would also email Banff tourism to check on the public transportation (bus) schedule; the service is quite good and as I recall runs quite late in the evening. You simply pull a cord to ring for the next stop on the route. I would buy a day pass for the bus and you can hop on and off any time you like. If you book the Gondola in advance their is a discount (information also on the web). You might look at weather forecast as you get closer to trip time and look at the forecast - you want to go with clear sky to enhance your experience. Hope this helps.
