What a find... And better yet only a short walk away from where we were staying at Acorn Cottage. The service was great, the food was lovely and you're right in the thick of the country locals, however with fine dining foods! I asked for pauses between courses because I didn't want to rush this experience and we had 20... More

We stumbled upon this delightful pub by accident, so glad we did! The staff were immediately attentive and helpful on arrival. We had lunch outside in the sun, lovely flowers, superb food and the waiter was excellent, all we had to do was relax... The whole place was immaculate and the decor warm and chic. We'll be visiting again and... More

We wanted to eat at 1930, but booking just a few hours before we were due to go, instead of declining our booking (due to being fully booked) we were offered 1830. Having cycled for 5 hours during the day we were hungry customers, and it was the right place to go. We got there at 1830 and the dining... More

Turned up without booking a table and was shown to a lovely table overlooking the pretty front garden. Efficient and friendly young waiter. Service good and food excellent. Large portions though.

We didn't book, but managed to get last table. Great food - I had a lovely risotto and my partner had the fish dish. Nice atmosphere and attentive staff

Having hired a bike from brockenhurst my husband and I decided to explore the new forest a little more, we've been many times but have never come across Sway village and I have to say I'm so glad we did. This former guest house has been changed into a village pub, the decor is beautiful as is the front garden... More

It's our first time in the area, this pub was recommended by locals and is a great little place. Good atmosphere, really nice food and good service. Would go back

Although a pub, a little more pricey than pub grub, but couldn't fault the quality. It's more restaurant standard. If you're staying in Sway it's one of only two pub options in walking distance.
