Fabulous historic cabin, cosy, clean and charming. Cuisine is out of this world. Great service as well. I have been there several times and always look forward to staying at Storm Mountain Lodge.

Storm Mountain is our favourite place for an apres-ski cocktail in front of the spectacular original fireplace, in one of the best ambiences of any of the front country lodges. It is a family run business - something that is getting harder to find in the Banff/Lake Louise area, and they always make guests feel welcome and appreciated. The service... More

I was staying at one of their rustic cabins. I usually avoid expensive dinner inside national parks --- too many disasters in the past (bad food like college-dorms, overpriced or even outright rip off, poor/slow service....). After a very long day hike, I didn't want to drive 25 min to Banff for dinner so decided to take a chance. Made... More

The lodge is an honest to goodness rustic mountain lodge with exposed logs, a bison head, roaring fire and excellent bar. Expect fine food at dinner with modern touches, well prepared and served with flair. The small staff prepares and serves the many choices exceptionally well matching many big city hot spots. Breakfast is also loaded with benedicts, soufflés, yoghurt... More

Set in a very cozy albeit large log cabin, the menu is seasonal and dedicated to using free range meats and poultry, wild fish and organic ingredients when possible. The Bison Tenderloin was tender and very tasty, but please do not ask Chef Guillaume Sylvain to cook it well done because it would become too dry! We would order the... More

Turn off Canada ! onto 98 South. In a few kilometers you come to a simple sign for Storm Mountain Lodge and Cabins. Friends and I rented 2 cabins for 4 nights there. We enjoyed breakfasts that included poached eggs with Hollandaise sauce on dried tomato biscuits and omelets with bison bacon. Scones were also a favorite. Wanting a light... More

We visited the Rockies and stayed at Storm Mountain for three nights. The log cabins were well equipped and very clean. All the warmth and charm of a log cabin with mod cons. The log burning fire was a particularly nice touch. The staff were very warm and friendly and the food at the restaurant were exceptional. The only watch... More

We stayed at Storm Mountain Lodge and Cabins, and treated ourselves to two breakfasts and two dinners in the restaurant. Tables are set up in the converted porch that wraps around the rustic lodge. Fantastic dishes. The yogurt and granola parfait is great start to any day, and the elk sirloin (among others) would be a fine entree in any... More

My wife and I visited Storm Mountain Lodge for one night while vacationing in the Banff area. It's a great opportunity to experience something uniquely rustic with cabins that were originally built in 1922. Unplug and unwind in this spectacular setting and imagine what it was like for those early settlers of years gone by. All nostalgia aside, the meal... More
