We visited Casa Joya for the second time today and once again had a wonderful experience. This time we were celebrating my parents' wedding anniversary and they felt thoroughly spoilt by the superb food and excellent hospitality. We also all enjoyed the beautiful scenery. All in all it was a perfect day!

Casa Joya is run by husband and wife team James and Mary. They do everything between the 2 of them, hence they only have a few tables - James is the chef and Mary front of house. James is an ex Langhams and Scott's chef and the food is fantastic. Local ingredients, all freshly prepared. 3 (big) courses is a... More

Further to my review dated 6/9/15: Excellent menú with many superb mouthwatering choices. At the time of our visit the menú boasted: 10 x starters, 9 x main courses, 8 x desserts & an assorted cheeseboard. Same very high quality of food, excellently cooked & very well presented. In my previous review I mentioned waiting staff were a little too... More

Invited here for someone's birthday and it was excellent. Food exquisite, location perfect. Its a couple that own it, Mary does front of house and her husband who was chef at Langhams brasserie runs a perfect venue relaxed yet first class and professional.

Yet again, we returned to Casa Joya for Christmas lunch. The warm welcome from Mary and James was only matched by the superb food. James always produces imaginative, tasty and beautiful food that leaves you blissfully delighted. Casa Joya is our favourite place to eat and we are never disappointed.

We went for a midweek lunch treat and the experience was outstanding. This is the best place I've ever eaten in Spain by a mile. The ambience was charming, Mary is a superb front-of-house host and the food was divine from starter to main to dessert. It was also very reasonable. Easily the best Brussel sprouts I've ever touched! I... More
