Called in for a drink a couple of weeks back and have been back several times since. Welcoming fire and candles on the tables are a sign of a wind of change is going through this business, along with a great selection of well kept...More

I went, on whim, not having been there for a couple of years, but I had been told it had changed hands. And what a difference! A pleasant log fire in the hearth as you walk in the door. Some much-needed re-decoration had been carried...More

We stopped here for lunch on a walk after finding the nearby Moorfield Arms is now being converted into residential units. It was a late Friday lunchtime by the time we arrived, so very quiet. It's not bad, but it's not excellent. Internal fittings are...More

Visited on a sunny April day for Sunday lunch. Our 6 year old loved the huge slide, and we all loved the huge roast dinners! Spacious outside astro-turfed area very pleasant to sit in. 3 x beef dinners very much enjoyed. Recommended. Will return.

Beautiful location , let down by very slow service and very average food Didn't appreciate being downwind of the weed smoking clients at the next table My advice ...avoid , there are much nicer places in the area

I can in to your pub the other weekend and I was totally dissatisfied with the service. The staff was unpleasant the food has sipped since the last time I came in. I've been coming for 3 years now and I come with my family and friends. This is going to be my last visit I am sorry to say as I have been a good customer over the years last year we came a lot in the six weeks holiday. This year we will have to look for another country pub. Mike.
