After a super morning "tootling" around Beaumont and Lalinde we returned again to Issigeac for lunch. It was quite busy so the service was a little slow - but hey on holiday what's the rush? Quiche, salad and chips (scallop type potatoes fried - yum!!) The other half - he had cheese and ham omelette with salad also yum! Beautiful... More

Our second visit to Issigeac and we so enjoyed this restaurant for a family lunch last year, we decided to revisit. Nice, home-cooked food, friendly service, and shade from the July sun under the patio vines. The prices are very reasonable and there's a children's menu. Perfect! The restaurant is handily placed for a car park and is the ideal... More

I tried a crepe with smoked salmon, crème fraiche and slice apple and it was a nice light meal for lunch. Its a pretty terrace and nice for a brief respite from the sun under the shady vines. Slightly uncomfortable seats.

We went here for coffee & tea with my mother & sister-in law, it had to be done each day, a different cafe, they said this was the best they had during their short stay. Good service & price far better than the ones in Bergerac where the staff weren't interested & served luke warm drinks at inflated prices.

Perfectly placed in Issigeac this restaurant does home made food in a pretty setting. We went for a quick lunch in November. Bagels with cream cheese and salmon plus salad, a nice glass of wine. The desserts are all home made and delicious. Service very friendly. It is shut over the Winter. PS does great icecream.

Not sure why but this town was virtually closed up the day we visited so we were grateful to find this small bistro/creperie open. It turned out to be a good choice. We sat outside under the foliage, it was empty when we arrived (always a worrying sight) but soon filled up. Galettes were 8.00 euro which is just a... More

We stopped there for a coffee, but after we realized they serve food, we decided to have lunch. We had Quiche of the day with salad, coffee and cake. The food was homemade, simple style and tasted extremly good. Prices were very reasonable. The cakes were delicious. We also liked the style of the place (French Bistrot-Cafè). Nice to sit... More

We stayed in a Issigeac for a week and this is the perfect place for lunch. A lovely cool shady place to sit, so relaxing and a nice menu. We had the panini which are very thin but lovely, chips are also great as were the omelette and the bruschetta type dish. Staff are great and we spent our last... More

We have been going to this little cafe for the last 10 years and we are always made to feel welcome. The food for lunch is very good and we enjoy a relaxing coffee there too every now and then. We can sit and watch the goings on in Issigeac. Wonderful little cafe in a wonderful little town.
