I was introduced to this restaurant when returning from a days hiking. It was a Saturday afternoon and as we approached there were clearly many people eating. However no worry as we were quickly seated with menus in our hands. A very Slovak cuisine on...the comprehensive menu, it helped that the information for each dish was in English and German as well as Slovak. We placed our orders and the food appeared promptly to the table. I was very impressed with my lamb kebab, it was a generous portion at a reasonable price (just under 8 Euros). I could understand why it was so popular with quality food at sensible prices. I only had one problem, so many choices in the menu. I will certainly return soon to try out more of the menu options. I love lamb and it is not often offered in Slovakia, but there were at least 4 lamb meals on offer. I wandered outside before we left to see the roast pig on a spit, worth thinking about for future. A very authentic old style interior with a folk band playing outside on the large terrace. I am looking forward to our next visit. Child friendly location.More

Best traditional Slovak food I ever had. Mutton is their specialty. I loved "tajomstvo Tomasa surovca" or somethign like that. Just amazing. Prices are affordable. Service is nice, although from time to time a bit chaotic :) but very little. Accomodation is different cup of...the, but I can´t find it anywhere to rate.More

I went here with my partner, the staff are all very friendly, service is very good and food came out very promptly. Having never eaten Slovak food before it was very interesting what the food is. Generally it’s cheese, potato, dumplings, lamb and pig, some...chicken but not much. Beautiful natural scenic environment and a huge beautiful Slovakian sheep dog that has learnt to say hello to everyone at each table before going back out to the sheep, he was very cute! Kofala which is like a citrusy Coca Cola on tap is served here and was very refreshing. French fries a available if you fancy something a little different to accompany the food.More

We visited the place with four children. Restaurant is a lovely place from outside and inside. The food is way too expensive for what you get and service is terrible. The owner probably used his advantage being the only place to eat in Zbojska. Completely...incapable to serve people when the place is full. I have eaten better halusky anywhere else and mutton goulash is just soup with very little potatoes and meat. Wouldnt recommend the restaurant at all.More

I really like the restaurant. Delixious food. Sheep cheese (bryndza) was excellent. I could tell that it is home made. Good young staff. Beautiful scenary around the restaurant with history :)

I love this place due to its location and atmosphere. The accomodation is nice in the nature, in the morning you can enjoy the view and sheeps walking around. Kitchen is also delicious for reasonable prices... Service/reception is terrible. First you try to reach them...by phone. You need about 10-15 telephone calls, till somebody picks up. OK. We wanted to organise a bigger event there and we were told, we should write email with possible days. NO REPLY. We called again (same story - 10 times trying), and we were told, they will reply in few days... No reply came... When we were there and mentioned this problem, the girl at reception told us, they know about this problem, many people complain, but so far they have enough reservation so they do not plan to change anything on this. THIS IS SHAME! I will this place all the best, as I love these kind of place but on the other side, I hate this kind of service!More
