We came here for brunch. Kids had panckes, eggs and bacon and fried fish. We had fish tacos and seafood enchiladas. We ordered home made jamaica juice. Coffee was very good. All and all food was good. Service was good. And no tummy aches after.

A great "Hole-in-the-wall" joint. Not to be missed. Our only complaint is that it is only open until 3 p.m. as we were busy most days until after 3. Fresh seafood, reasonable prices, good portions, friendly service, locally-owned, family-run. All dining is outside under shade, so no AC, but plenty of fans to keep off the bugs & keep you... More

Great breakfast and lunch. Great value too. Viejo was recommended by multiple locals. Doesn't take credit cards.

It's always a pleasure to stop by here for lunch... What a deal. 20 bucks will feed a few friends as well as cool them off with an ice cold Pacifico beer...As usual the place is full of Gringo expats who know a good deal...This is not a bad thing as many of them have been living in town for... We ate lunch here a few times during our week stay in Los Barriles and the tacos are so good and all of the food is reasonably priced. We had chicken, shrimp and fish tacos and I liked that we could put our own toppings on (toppings were red and green salsa, cabbage, peppers, lime, etc). We will definitely be... More

Nice colourful tables and good food. I had the scrambled eggs with bacon plus toast. Very well presented with coffee and orange juice all for about USD6.00. Good service and atmosphere. This is off season and the place was still busy for breakfast. Will be back there tomorrow

Great grilled garlic shrimp and scallop tacos, but get the quesadillas, they are even better. Lots of fresh vegetables, sauces to add. Flour tortilla, is "harina" (sounds like 'arena'). They also have great shrimp relleno on Fridays. In the winter, best tortilla soup in the world in a huge bowl.

One of the oldest and most consistent eateries in the town, open for breakfast and lunch. Great condiment cabinet. Very fair pricing. My favorites are the fist and shrimp tacos.

We ate here 4 times in one week stay. We tried all types of tacos-my fav were the shrimp and the fish ones. Love the salsa bar. Hubby had grilled steak tacos and loved those, super tender and flavorful. Loved the iced hibiscus tea. Cold cervasas. Very inexpensive and just a perfect spot to relax.

Place is awesome. Came here three times for breakfast. They are open at 8 despite some web listings. Fish tacos are amazing. Omelette sate excellent as well. Recommend the chorizo omelette. You get fresh tortillas even with your breakfast order. Best prices we have seen in town too.

I don't see reviews for any of Los Barriles' many restaurants or the local attractions for that matter. I live here and would be glad to provide more information about this great little town if you are interested.
