Had a hard time finding, but it was worth searching. Had cocoanut shrimp which was very good and my husband had the grilled fish, which was excellent. Staff was very friendly and we will definitely return on our next trip to Nuevo Vallarta.

Great Great food wonderful staff wonderful entertainment on Sunday mornings. It was a great place to go and the food was excellent and served with a beautiful presentation. The artwork that the owner does is beautiful and worth seeing on its own. The view is beautiful and the sculpture in front of the restaurant being done by the owner is... More

In a two week stay in Nuevo Vallarta, we only missed one morning having breakfast at Estudio Cafe. The waiters almost knew that the order was going to be Egg Burrito with Bacon and Egg Burrito with Mushroom for my husband and I with 2 coffees, but we mixed it up a couple of times having the french toast made... The breakfast here is fantastic! We ordered Lilu's something, a flour tortilla with beans, a delicious sauce, chorizo, egg whites, etc. My wife ordered the spinach omelet, which came out look like an art piece. We heard from other cruisers that they had a great breakfast, and it was pretty crowded when we were there. They do not serve dinner... More

This week we came here for breakfast and enjoyed it so much we returned two days later for dinner. French toast and coconut shrimp are favorites. Recommend evening reservations since they're only open for dinner Monday-Thursday. Daily for breakfast and lunch. Will definitely return on future visits.

We were a party of 6 for dinner and have frequented this restaurant in previous years. Our experience last evevning was average at best. All food was over salted, salad served on the warm dinner plate, coconut shrimp overcooked and mediocre at best. While service was adequate it was forget at times. There are so many better restaurants to experience... More

We enjoyed brunch at Estudio Cafe in Nuevo Vallarta. The food was delicious (I had French Toast that was diving and a healthy green drink). Inside the outdoor cafe is the artist's studio (thus the name), filled with his beautiful artwork (mixed media: paintings, bronze statues and other mixed media art). The wait staff is very friendly and contributed to... More

Estudio is unique, a combination restaurant and art gallery run by a wonderful family. Julie and her sister cook up delicious meals, fresh, tasty and a step above normal restaurant fare. While Federico showcases his amazing paintings and sculpture. Come by Saturday mornings when local artists join in for an open art walk and Victoria, their teenage daughter, sells her... More

Description
We take pride in feeding both body and soul since the year 2000. Charming family ambiance with a splendid view of the marina, surrounded by art. Meeting point for artists, writers and thinkers. AAA rated 2 diamonds. Look us up in the Mexico Tour Book. Home cooked family recipes. Strictly fresh, natural ingredients, preferably organic, cooked in traditional, no-nonsense ways. We adhere to the "slow food" movement for proper cooking and enjoying. During high season (October through April), we serve breakfast , lunch and dinner Monday through Thursday. Friday, Saturday and Sunday we serve breakfast and lunch only. In low season (May to July) dinner is not served. We close August and September.
