Make the trip from Vidante Resort. Jose is the best waiter. Big smiles everywhere. Fish is outstanding. Feed the turtles when come.

We have eaten here before, a trip about two years ago and I have to say it was better then. Not that the whole meal was bad, just my steak and my friends chicken. They remade my steak twice and then I gave up. I didn't even eat it, it was rubbery. My friends chicken was dry. But everyone else's... More

We ate at La Laguna during our stay in Nuevo Vallarta. Delicious food at reasonable prices ($120 for a family of 5). The view of the Lagoon with the mountains painted a beautiful backdrop while eating, and the Mariachi band will play a song for $5. Wonderful voices and great personality. Not much in the way of kid selection, so... More

Been coming to feed the turtles for 15 years. First heard about this restaurant on PBS, have not been disappointed since. The fish is fresh and well prepared, the shrimp fantastic (better than its neighbor) and the margaritas are both tasty and powerful. After 2 you are glad that there is a taxi to take you home. The place is... More

During our last stay in Nuevo Vallarta we went twice to this restaurant to have the grilled red snapper zarandeado and in both instances it was simply awesome. We also tried and loved the following appetizers: fish soup, shrimp in sauce, mixed seafood. Service was impeccable, prices are truly reasonable for the quality of food served. Best to make reservations... More

This is one of the best restaurants for good margaritas and fish dinners. Their Zarandeando is the best! I enjoy looking out on the laguna and feeding the turtles and ducks. The staff is great. The mariachi band is delightful.

Great food (I had the shrimp and avocado salad pictured). Others had bacon shrimp, coconut shrimp, filet mignon. The food was well prepared and presented. The lagoon offers a great view of turtles, a variety of birds, iguanas and as I've heard (but didn't see tonight) a crocodile. I will definitely return!
