Thalatta is one of my favourite places to eat in the area! The servers are very efficient and friendly, the food portions are generous and well worth the price, and the food is all excellent! They offer both Filipino and Western cuisine, and have a lovely assortment of desserts. They have a great breakfast menu, perfect to start a day of diving or relaxing by the pool. For lunch you can eat in the restaurant, or order a packed lunch if you're going to Apo or around the island for the day. Even the packed lunches are fresh and filling! It's always nice and cool in the restaurant, with a fresh breeze from the sea coming in, and Apo Island perfectly in sight. It makes a lovely view for a romantic dinner :)

Food is really fresh and top quality. Servings are generous. Everything we tried there tasted awesome. If you manage to have room for desert, the chocolate mousse is a must try !

We like to visit this resort a lot. We sometimes rent a cottage nearby & then eat & use the pool for a fee. Lovely well trained staff

We stayed in a villa about 500m away from the restaurant. Evidently this was the best in the area.
The food was fine with a basic range across a few different cuisines. The serving are of a good size and the flavour was OK.
I would recommend this restaurant if you were in the area and did not want to travel any further than the Zamboanguita area.

We visit Thalatta on a regular basis, in particular the restaurant as it is close to our residence. The food is reasonable, the prices are very acceptable.

Last day we where her for a swim in the pool and order food.
I am realy loving in sweet and sour.
But this was just ketchup for sausage.
For the place and sourunding it is awasome.
If it weren't for the meal it will get full score from me

Dear Ronny,
Are you sure to have requested a "sweet and sour" dish? It is the first time we get a bad comment about our preparation, we are using our own ingredients, even our Chinese guests love it. It is one of my favorite dish in Thalatta. We really do not understand why we are getting a very bad score from you.

We stayed 5 nights next door in Acqua dive and to mix up our dinners ate twice at Thalatta restaurant. Good and varied choice of starters, mains and desserts. We thought food was good and fair value.

The restaurant of the resort is opened to non residents of the hotel. The food is of excellent quality and varied. The chef is of Swiss origin and is creative in the menus that are offered. There’s a choice of Philippines, European and Japanese meals.
Altogether, very satisfied of the service and of the quality of meals served.

My husband and I stayed at the Acqua Dive Resort and the food was not very good so we decided to walk along the beach next door to Thalatta. We were not disappointed. I ordered the Chicken Adobo which was delicious and my husband ordered the Sinigang (he’s very particular about his Filipino food) he would not stop raving about how great it was. It was very relaxing enjoying a delicious dinner while listening to the waves crash along the shore.

We stayed nearby but decided to eat here and we were not disappointed at all. The restaurant is on the beachfront and you can see Apo Island.
The menu was extensive ranging from western/seafood/local cuisine but the prices are double than what you would pay for Finbar and Duain Dive Cafe.
My son had the garlic buttered prawns and they were quite stingy on the prawns, only 4 prawns and covered with prawn heads, this dish was 590 so it was a little pricey for what you got but it looked delish.
Generally speaking the food was good, friendly staff and fast service. If you are not on a budget its worth going to.
