To celebrate my sons 40th Birthday I booked 2 tables for 11 people to dine. 4 travelling from North London.
The staff were extremely flexible to some decorations and made a great show of bringing out the Cake to a very surprised 40 year old.
We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we entered the restaurant.
We ordered our meal, a family platter, There was 4 of us and without doubt, there was enough food for probably 6 people.
The food was excellent, piping hot, fresh and...very enjoyable. We were unable to finish it all and the waiter immediately took the platter away and returned shortly afterwards with a doggy bag.
All of us thoroughly enjoyed the meal, the staff, were great. A very good evening.More
We ate here this evening (30/05/21).
Booked a table for two, Parking was difficult as car park at rear was full and it's not the easiest to turn the car around in. We parked across the road at Asda which gave 1.5 hours free parking....We were shown straight to the table when we arrived. It was busy (6pm).
Prawns for starters then a house Special, lamb casserole and a minced lamb dish.
My main came to the table 5 minutes before my partners which was not well served the waiter told me to start eating as my partners food was coming soon. (As this absolved them from the poor service ?) Also my main came with rice when I ordered couscous but I just ate it as it was getting cold.
Apart from this the food was very nice and the staff very friendly.
We will return and try something else, hopefully the food will be served together at the same time and with the correct order.
It's not cheap seats, but very tasty, with plenty of choice and even Vegetarian dishes to choose from.More
Today was my first time visiting this restaurant with a friend and I wasn't disappointed. We were greeted at the door by three friendly faces (and hand sanitiser for covid purposes) then showed to our table.
To say the staff are attentive is an understatement....We were brought a bread basket and yummy dips to begin while we waited for our food but we didn't have to wait long at all. We ordered the cold mezze platter and the owner kindly swapped out the fish pate for olives to make it suitable for us as vegetarians. This was incredible value for money and the platter was perfect to share along with two sides of warm falafel. The food was delicious and our bread basket was replaced (without us needing to ask) throughout the meal once emptied yay.
We were accidentally brought halloumi but we weren't complaining as we were very quickly brought the correct side and allowed to keep the halloumi for free. The staff could not have been more apologetic and quick to resolve the issue. Surprisingly, the falafel was served on a bed of hummus and a generous portion of salad.
I was also given free Turkish tea which was absolutely delicious. I had a splendid time and will be returning with more friends in the future.More
Ordered through Uber eats. 2 people £54 Food arrived barely warm. Called, no apology. Waited 40 mins for a second delivery and the rude driver beeped outside my house to get my attention then twice more and instead of getting out he waved me for...me to come to the window of his car. Asked me what was wrong with the first delivery, no apology just said “here’s the second one” and pushed the food at me out of his car window. It’s a shame because the food was quite nice. Won’t be ordering from here again, not supporting a business with this lack of customer service.More
We have beeing having 2 takeouts a week from various takeaways including turkish restaurants and Antep was by far the best.
The flavour of the meat which flowed through the rice was unreal. The platter was fantastic and more than enough for 3 people.
The...platter was accompanied with a cold mezze starter, sauces and traditional turkish delight.
You will not be disappointed if your order from Antep.More
This is one of my favourite restaurants in mk but the last time we ordered I was frustrated with the service. I gave instructions that you have to walk up a little side path by a certain house number to get to my home, the...guy called me and said he was outside but when I got outside he wasn’t there. I told him how to get to my house but he already knew and expected me to walk to his car in the rain because he didn’t want to get out and walk. I had got ready for Valentine’s Day and my outfit was ruined. When I got to the car he told me one of the deserts was not there so he put two of the desert I ordered in. I then paid for it. When we got in there was only one and that was what my gf was looking forward to most. I called them back up but they said they would send a driver and the guy was kinda blunt. They did refund me the next day. The food quality is good but I didn’t think they’d act like that.More
Family favourite pre and during lockdown. Yes it’s expensive but the quality and service is wonderful. They take care of the kids, make sure they are well catered for and make sure they enjoy the experience. As for the the food, we have been numerous...times inc takeaway and they have never failed.More
