Beautiful restaurant right at the Malecon. Great view as there is an outside upper deck, but even from inside the upstairs, the view is great because of all the windows. Clean bathrooms. The hubby had the teppanyaki dish and said it was terrific. I stayed...with the good ole standby of cheese quesadillas, with their terrific salsa. Will be back to check this place out again. Very moderate prices for being a better restaurant on the Malecon.More

Just friendly and comfortable! The Cadillac Margaritas are the best! Outside upstairs can’t be beat.

We had a pretty decent lunch here. 2nd floor balcony, nice view, pleasant service. I had a very tasty octopus quesadilla and husband had a clam chowder that he much enjoyed.

I would give this negative stars if I could. After reading some reviews, I wanted to come here. Never really write reviews, but I’m just so pissed off about this establishment. When we first entered, it was about 40% full? A boxing fight was going...on so it was “busy” but no one was really eating, just drinks. It took forever for our waiter to do anything - from seating us, giving us menus, etc. We ordered right away (they ran out of fish? A seafood restaurant?) and we just never received our food. Getting our drinks took him 20 minutes alone. After half an hour, the place cleared once the match was over. Still waiting. After waiting an HOUR for our food (he came before to say it was going to be “Mexican 10 minutes” and his boss came to say it was coming out soon), our server came back a second time, saying he lied the first time and it’s gonna be ANOTHER 20 minutes. We already finished our drinks so we said we’ll pay for the drinks and go. After waiting 10 minutes for a simple bill, we got fed up, placed money on the table, and left. His supervisor just said a nonchalant “bye,” and that was it. It was our last night in Rocky Point, and we wanted a special night of good food and dancing. This put such a damper on the night cause it was already 10:30 by the time we got to another bar/restaurant. NEVER AGAIN. Crappy service and staff.More

I just want to share my experience since it was the worst treatment I ever received from a decent looking restaurant like this. (Once again, I learned my lesson that I should never ever judge a book by its cover.) I went to this restaurant...on the last day of my stay in Puerto Peñasco, expecting to have a nice meal with all my friends I went with since it had such a high rating. However, all in all, I would give a zero star if I could. The very reason is simple and clear as followed: they did not value my and my friends’ time at all and kept us waiting for over one hour with a lie that they had so many tables to serve. However, there were three tables on the second floor where my friends and I were and four down stairs. He even had balls to ask for 40 more minutes after he admitted that tables were too many to serve was a lie. Instead, he came up with a new excuse; their chef was a “mess” We didn’t want to stay there any longer and so asked for bills for our drinks as we just wanted to leave the restaurant, but not to my surprise, he didn’t come back for another 15minutes. We just left money that should be enough for our drinks on the table and got out of the restaurant. I am deeply disappointed in how deceitful they were with what was going on with our orders. It almost felt like they did not care the value of our time and just kept us hanging there expecting for more orders for drinks, probably while their messed up chef was figuring out how to cook our orders lol Prices are unnecessarily expensive and food they serve is westernized Mexican food rather than typical Mexican food. Do not recommend this restaurant and will never go back.More

We visited El Oktopus after talking with one of their wait staff out front. I could see that the upper deck would offer a fanastic view of the sunset and the menu was priced in line with most places in the Old Port. I noticed...a few poor reviews of the places so I ordered with trepedation, however, none of them seemed to ring remotely true when the food arrived. The menu had a huge selection of Mexican dishes and my wife and I both ordered a version of tacos. Mine came with fish, colorful shells and vegetables on top and were delicious. I ordered a plate of nachos for my son and he could barely make a dent. They were enormous and covered with tasty topping. Overall, El Oktopus is well worth a visit to the Old Port area. The staff stored some of our souveigneers we had bought that day while we ate and were extremely friendly and personable. I certainly recommend this place as worth a visit, especially around sunset on the upper deck.More

The restaurant is decorated in a very bright and fun way. The bathroom was impeccably clean. The waiters were very friendly. The seafood was very fresh and tasty.
