Big on flavor. As good or even better than to be at Yucatan

Located pretty near of Posada's museum this family attended restaurant serves the most delicious breakfast I had in my entire life, and I travel like twice a month. They will serve you as courtesy two different samples of Chicharron en Salsa, I believe one of them is Chile Pasilla and the other one... read more

This restaurant is very traditional in the city. It´s mostly a breakfast place, and has a very limited menu (about 12 dishes), the food is spicy and with very high fat content. Some of the dishes such as the Cochinita require and acquired taste for the foreign guest. The location is very nice. Also it is a family restaurant so... More

This is a popular restaurant located near the historic center of the city and it usually has plenty of patrons. The food was quite good but international travelers might want to stick to lighter dishes.

Totally recommended! A great place to enjoy a home-made breakfast. Place is properly decorated (even the staff), cleanliness is exceptional. If you go to Mexico and will stop in Aguascalientes city, it's worth a try!

From the cleanliness of the restaurant, to the kindness of the staff and owners, this place is THE place to stop for a bite when in town. The problem is, that you won't want to leave. It seems part museum, part restaurant because there is just so much to take in. Nestled on one side of an amazing garden, it's... More

This restaurant is one of the best if it comes to typical "Comida Yucateca". Besides that, each Sunday they have a professional performance, presenting and dancing the most popular Mexican songs. The place is very nice, bring some time because service can be a little slow since this place is always crowded.

This place has a small menu but is big on flavor. Great chilaquiles and fresh squeezed orange juice. I also recommend the cochinita pibil taco and the tamale (yucatan style). The cafe de la olla is also great to finish off your breakfast. Come early on weekends as the tables fill up quick and the wait can be long.

It is located in front of Posada's museum. It is a family restaurant that serves breakfast . But just next door they have another place "El rincon maya" where they serve lunch too. We had to wait a little bit as they close La Mestiza and 20 minutes or so later, they open the Rincon Maya. Try the sample platter... More
