My friends told me that this restaurant has a long history in Aguascalientes (more than 50 years.... wow). From first-sight it doesn't seem to impressive but the dishes were very good and full of flavor. Everything is great: Pozole, Flautas, Tacos, Sopes (pork and chicken), Tostadas, Enchiladas and sweet tamales. Recommended for real Mexican food lovers, this is no tex-mex... More

If you ask anyone for a place to have a typical dish in Aguascalientes, I bet they´ll answer "La San Antonio". With a great variety of "garnachas" (fried tacos, quesadillas, enchiladas, sopes) pozole , and the best Tamales in town (sweet and salty ones). You can have a "plato Aguascalientes/Hidrocálido" that comes with a little of everything so you can... More

The price is not at all good comparing with the horrible food. Hard sopes and small, the taste is really not good for the fame the have. Not recomendable at all.

It is very Famous in town for Typical Mexican food, i found it to be regular than Good. There are better options for Typical Food in my Opinion, Like Estela just a few meters in front.

Having over 30 years of service, Cenaduría San Antonio is THE place to taste the best of the local cuisine in Aguascalientes. All the dishes are exquisite and really unique. If you are there and have a hard time deciding what to order, go for the "Hidrocalido" platter.

It's a very traditional place in Aguascalientes with a good menu but it is not very big you'll find flautas, tacos, enchiladas, sopes and tamales. The flavors are good but the food is greasy. The tortillas used are small ones so even it says they serve 4 pieces per dish it is OK for one person. The cup of coffee... More

It gets crowded, the tables are lined with plastic and there are no chairs, just stools. BUT, you MUST eat here. if you like mexican food they have the best pozole, sopes and flautones in town. The Plato Hidrocálido is a massive mix of dishes. The tamales are a MUST here, try cherry and eggnog with a small cup of... More

Even if I am not a Mexican food lover I have to admit the food here is really good, traditional Mexican dishes, good service and a wonderful atmosphere, absolutely an Aguascalientes "must".
