I keep coming back here once a year or two whenever I want to have a great and juicy T-bone. San Luis has one of the best meats in Mexico (I hope people from Sonora don't mind), and this place is one of the very best in San Luis. Plus, the atmosphere is nice and quite. Also the side-dishes are... More

This was the third or fourth time that we had eaten here during a business trip and the food and ambiance varies little from the high quality we have experience. The décor is beautiful and the service impeccable. The table side salsa sets the tone and the appetizers are very tasty. I was disappointed during this visit as the had... More

From the outside and inside the property is massive, interesting architecture and furnishings. Service was excellent but there were not many patrons. The full menu had many interesting items as appetizers, I did not try them as my group was not ready for pallette adventures. The menus are available in English. We tried a grilled combination of items including octopus... More

We joined for the buffet, which offers a fairly small choice of Mexican food and oddly does include some staple foods such as guacamole or frijoles. We ordered some extra, but were disappointed at the quality: the guacamole basically turned out to be mashed avocado. Not recommended.

We were unable to find the Pueblo Bonito that I had been to near the Westin so we went to the one down on 57. We wandered in, no host(ess) so we made it to the dining room. Got a table. Recorded Mexican music playing too loud to have a conversation. Waited and waited for a server. Finally someone took... More

I dined at this restaurant given the location to the hotel I was staying at (Camino Real). Upon arrival, I found that there was a nice garden in the back with a resident Peacock. I would have loved to stay in this area, but my guest had a fear of birds and was thus forced to the inside. However, the... More

You have this restaurant listed twice. See "Real Pueblo Bonito". It is currently ranked as #8. It is a great place to eat where they mix fresh salsa to your degree of pepper hot at your table. Nice touch.

About two weeks ago I had dinner with two colleagues of mine. I really enjoyed the way they prepare "salsa": you pick the ingredients and the waiter grounds them in a traditional mortar at your table. As an entree we had "escamoles" which I refer to as the aztec caviar: it is really a delicacy, the ants larvae have a... More
