We decided to go to El Tiburon based on several people's recommendations. The aguachillis were very good and had lots of flavor. Get the garlic shrimp if you get a chance. I tried the sampler shrimp plate, which had several different varieties of shrimp. The garlic was the best. The restaurant only accepts cash.

We went here on the recommendation of the concierge at our hotel. We order a large shrimp platter for 6, plus some seafood rice. The meal was very good as was the service we received. It is located in the Ixtapa Palace, an older hotel and this used to be the lobby bar area.

We went to this restaurant primarily to experience their Tiritas plate, which is the local Ixtapa/Zihuataneo area favorite. It is like a ceviche, but has fish strips instead of chunks. Their tiritas was ok, but for our tastes, nothing special. Other people eating next to us seemed to really enjoy their shrimp plates. Costs are definitely reasonable, even though this... More

We all rave about this place! The shrimp combination is definitely recommended by the wait staff and we all had it. The staff are attentive and watch your plate and drinks constantly. The different styles of shrimp are so good and the price is right too.

The concierge at our hotel recommended this restaurant for sea food. It was an average place. A couple of us had the magi magi and it was very dry. The rest of our friends also were not impressed with the quality and the presentation. The service was average and there is no ambiance . We sat outside and we're next... More

This is the best place for seafood in Ixtapa. Clean, reasonably priced and great service. Try it for sure.

We went for seafood dinner. The food was good, the service was Ok. We ran out of drinks and the waiter never bothered coming back to our table. We were handled two menus, one in Spanish and one if English, same prices on both. I kept the Spanish one. When we got the bill, every item (drinks, appetizers, main dishes)... More

Heard some folks at our hotel raving about this place. Its actually in a hotel. When we arrived around 6:45 for dinner they said they close at 7pm! Wow kinda early to close we thought but the hostess graciously told us we were welcome to eat dinner. Very kind. We had an enormous shrimp cocktail, very good. We both had... More
