Arcis is very small and among a couple other restaurants but fortunately we were steered to Arcis by Antonio on our first day in Puerta Escondido and we continued to go back every day. The staff is friendly, service great, chairs on beach, and fantastic food. Had fresh red snapper caught that day that was better than any 5 star... More

I have been here at least four times in the last two visits to Puerto Escondido. I just love this place. It has really fresh sea food (even from the same day), front seats to the Puerto Escondido Main Beach, you can eat with your feet in the sand (if you want, they have tables in the concrete part), really... I really recommend this place because, the food is delicious, the service is great and the staff is kind and efficient. My friends and I had octopus, fish, snails and some shrimp tacos; everything was delicious!!! The have good prices and the "michelada" is umm wonderful. Perfect spot on the beach although you might need to walk a little. Located by the rocks, it is sharing a small area with a wooden terrace where the waiters fight to drag you from Arcis. But once you sit down for a bite or lie down for the day, you fall For this place and know you will come... More

We had eaten here several time and the food was amazing. From the display and presentation to amazing flavor cooked to perfection. Because of this and the personalized service, I chose this venue to propose to my fiancé. Lorenzo and his staff handled every detail for the perfect evening. We had an enchanting evening on the beach with candlelight, flowers... More

Their Eastern Food Menu is excellent. Nearly as it should be - however, like all Mexican restaurants, the service sucks (even when speaking fluent spanish). I would only recommend dining for the Asian menu. Mexican food... don't even try it

The Arcis is the perfect spot for a lazy Day at the beach. It has longchairs and hammocks, the food is great, the jugos de fruita are delicious and the staff is so friendly that you immediately feel at home. The prices are very fair and if you want the house special, don't look into the card just ask Elmer... More

We were invited to dinner at Arcis by a friend because the food is good and on Tuesdays they have live music. We were in for a wonderful surprise. We promptly went back the following Tuesday. The restaurant is owned by a Mexican family. They manage to cook the most delicious food in a tiny kitchen. The seafood is so... More
