We drove down from Berkshire non stop and were thinking of stopping when we saw the sign for this place. Whilst the small car park was full we could street park easily. The restaurant inside is spacious. We were nicely greeted and the service excellent. We both had haddock, chips and mushy peas ( one small portion). Best we've ever... More

Indian Queens is not a fashionable or tourist-orientated location, but since discovering this restaurant by recommendation a few years ago we always try and make a point of visiting. The reason being that the fish and chips are amongst the best I have had, and I include Rick Stein’s fish and chip restaurant (as distinct from his Seafood Restaurant) in... More

We had been here before but were concerned as there were different owners since our last visit. No fears, we phoned & booked a table and arrived early, no problem and the staff were helpful. You order meals at the counter which we did. Food is freshly cooked and the cod and chips were perfect, such an excellent meal.

Excellent Fish and Chips as always last night. Celebrating a family birthday, we took a birthday cake with us. The staff offered to bring the cake to us after our meal. To our surprise the lights dimmed and out came the cake with candles (supplied by Port & Starboard) All the staff sang Happy Birthday, you certainly give an excellent... More

Lovely fish and chips with a meal deal of fish, chips, mushy peas and a cup of tea which is very reasonable. All freshly cooked. Chips are cooked in Beef Dripping which is stated on the menu. For me that gives them a traditional taste but is possibly not everybody's choice. Wasn't so keen on the batter on the fish... More

Small fish and the chips taste like cardboard, very over priced and the quantity is poor. The portion didn't even fill up the kids! Very disappointed and the chips left a horrible after taste. The chips look like frozen chips from a supermarket and they don't taste much better.

I just love this place, it's the best in Cornwall. We had a fish and chip dinner twice in the week we were on holiday there and visit it every year we come to Cornwall. it costs about 25 pounds for cod and chips for four to take away, great price. Top quality food, clean, nice staff.

Thank Kim C
