The atmosphere was warm and inviting and the food was great. They had all the regular pub favorites but we decided on a turkey and dressing sandwich with cranberry sauce that came... More

Stopped in for a quick drink. Good pint of Doombar on draught. Staff were happy to sort out an ice cream for the little one even though it was outside food service time. Would definitely go back to try their food. Charming and cosy.

Fantastic lunch in a fantastic decor, in a bit of a war theme. The food was delicious, enjoyed the starters.

Lovely pub with lit candles and fabulous decor! Great food, roasty log fire, subtle lighting, good service. All in all a lovely warm experience, can't wait to come back.

A nice country pub. Good service, good food and one of the best salad dressings I've ever had in the UK.

We found this place overpriced and over rated. Beer was good but was given the wrong order (BBQ brisket in a bunch instead of a burger) which was pretty disgusting. Since BBQ burger didn't feature on the menu we assumed it was their version of a burger - "deconstructed" perhaps! It wouldn't have been so bad but it tasted similar... More

It was lovely. The food was very good. The beer was good and the ambience lovely. It was busy for a Monday night and the staff were charming. Will be back.

Took a trip into the Dorset countryside and stopped at the Weld for Sunday Lunch. Unfortunately, we found it rather expensive for the food on offer. The service was good but I do get annoyed when I am being asked if everything was OK about 5 times. My wife, who has experience as a chef and also worked in a... More

The best pub Sunday lunch we've ever eaten! Lovely country pub, friendly staff and excellent food. It has a great garden and welcomed our lovely children too.
