Visited here for breakfast as we were staying up the road The breakfast was superb although the service was disappointing. We were the only people in there and had to wait 20 minutes for someone to take our order. The staff were to busy gossiping. Visited again later in the week for lunch and had superb food and much better... More

The friendly staff couldn't do enough for me to make my birthday an afternoon to remember with a scrumptious afternoon tea with their delicious ginger and treacle scones. Fantastic sunny afternoon in the garden spent with my family. The food always tempts me back week after week. Freddie

Always nice to sit in the garden after a long walk, with wet, tired dogs and have delicious coffees, or lunch. Usually welcoming and helpful, reasonable prices also.

We found this delightful place after visiting Clouds Hill - and quite honestly half expected them to say we were too late - as it was about half an hour before they closed, but we were greeted warmly and served without any problem. I had a large slice of Dorset Apple cake with a pot of Earl Grey tea and... More

We visited on a busy August afternoon. Although it was too busy for us to get to the area outside, I liked that dogs were allowed. Good selection of cakes, polite and efficient staff and a lovely atmosphere ! The brownie was delicious :-) we are heading back today with grandparents !

Had a delicious 'schoolroom' breakfast. Very good quality, pleased we included the black pudding. Lovely thick toast and pot of tea included. Friendly staff and a super location. Tips on finding! This was tricky, we travelled from Dorchester through crossways keeping straight on the road. Got to a T junction and turned right in error we should have turned left.... More

You need to know the area of a satellite navigation system (GPS) to arrive in this tea and coffee shop that also serves food. Inside is spacious but the gardens are the real seller. There is ample space outside for the sun lovers and dogs are welcome. We had the best home-made ginger beer in England ever. The food is... More

We visited here after a day at Monkey World and although our sat nav couldn't find it, Google maps came to the rescue. There is a really good ambience here, tea room style with a modern edge. After a day in the sun we were glad to sit inside but the grounds at the back of the tea room were... More

The Moreton Tearooms are an excellent cycling destination reached from all directions along lovely quiet roads. The ginger scone we shared was first class, the tea and coffee perfectly acceptable and the service enthusiastic and impeccable. And our total bill was under a tenner.
