This was a real treat. Despite being in high season, there seemed to be only a few people eating here and the food and atmosphere were superb. We sat outside, overlooking the beautiful mountains in the distance. Food-wise, the portion sizes were alarmingly large and...More

Let’s leave this out of the question: Cá Maddalena is a very nice agri business, situated on a hilltop overlooking the beautiful hills, fields and woods of the Fermignano area. The structure is deceivingly small: it is in fact a series of smaller buildings in...More

Wunderful location at the end of a never ending dirttrack. Take care when arriving with a low lying car. This is a kind of farmer's restaurant out in the countryside serving mostly homegrown foods. Most of the meat is also produced on the premises. Tasty...More

We've been eating at Ca Maddalena since a few years now, returning every summer without a doubt either with family or business partners. Their meat - cured, grilled, stewed, or in ragu - is simply outstanding! The duck and rabbit ragu deserve a special note....More

This country agritourismo restaurant serves good simple food. The beef was exceptional and the pastas were also very good. This restaurant is a little way off the beaten track but well worth the effort.

I'm been in this lovely restaurant few days ago with some friends. Great atmosphere, in the countryside. We had some local starters and meat. The taste was great and also quantity was more than enough. Waiters an service: top level. Absolutely recommended.

Went here for lunch, it was so good. Busy, happy people eating great local food, what more can you want. At the end of the meal they rounded DOWN the bill! Where in England would that happen? All food is locally sourced and it shows....More

A large group of us took a table on the porch. The meal was excellent in all regards -- food (the antipasti of local meats and cheeses was particularly special), wine, and service (very friendly and accommodating). And the lovely view of the surrounding hills...More

Description
The philosophy of our restaurant cannot exclude the nature of our farm, which rears pigs and cattle but also offers a wide variety of courses which are the outcome of our best culinary tradition. So you can eat "crescia sfogliata" (a kind of puff pastry flatbread) with the homemade cold cuts, fresh handmade pasta which can be flavoured with different types of "ragu" sauces, with or without meat and the best assortment of vegetables that the season offers; we also have a special attention for the excellent products coming from the surrounding woods such as wild asparagus, mushrooms or truffles picked by our own personal reliable gatherers. All this ensures that the ingredients we use are inextricably linked to the seasonality. Sometimes you will find ingredients which are not strictly typical of our area, but if they are carefully selected, they are essential in enriching our courses. Despite our culinary guidelines, many vegetarians are also loyal clients of ours. We also know how to prepare for celiac sufferers.
