I am absolutely dazzled. The lasagna which I had was a recommendation made by a foreign friend and I for one am happy that I chose it too. The dish was cooked to perfection and it felt like a home-made meal even though it was...prepared in the heart (kitchen) of Woodlands Eatery. The meal's portion size is above and beyond enough. I am so smitten that I'm returning for a second time this week! The dessert I opted for, Lavender Crème Brûlée, was scrumptious, sweet and delighful all in one. I would highly recommend this place for a cosy, comfy and casual dinner. The music was also familiar yet in tune with the vibe of the evening's setting. Thank you for having a non-alcoholic option too. Even though we are local and live just around the corner, going to Woodlands is always a special treat. Their gluten free pizza bases are just phenomenal. Last night's Woodlands pizza with the most succulent lamb topping was absolutely beautiful. Great service, friendly and engaging...owners, cosy atmosphere, and the loveliest Italian food in town. There is no way by any stretch of imagination that this place deserves 5 dots (stars). Let's start with the decor, not only is there none but whatever is there is old and decrepit. The main dining room is one flight up, on uneven stairs....We were there a full hour before placing our order was possible, finally, via the attention of the lone waiter, albeit he had an assistant. One paper napkin per person. No bread served before the meal or during. The bruschetta was okay at best. The pizza was lame, with a limp crust. The lasagna was beautifully prepared, but contained little if any meat, in the sauce and was served in a barely warm soup bowl. We were pretty much done with our meal when the owner(?) or whoever it was, appeared out of nowhere, buzzed by the table at high speed uttering "bon appetite". Really?More

Wonderful, intimate and authentic Italian experience. You can really taste that everything is hand made with care to pair with the wine. Friendly and helpful staff. Cozy space. Highly recommended.

Absolutely brilliant food. We were blown away by the lamb pizza and seafood pasta (can't remember the name). Waiter (Mylicint if I'm not mistaking) suggested both, and we were really thankful for her input. Will definitely return.
