We really did not expect to find a Michelin rated restaurant in Manciano. But there is it. If you want to visit make sure that you reserve in advance. Menu is small, but exquisite. As I understand, all entries are basically the work of art....More
The hype is excessive. I imagine many of its 5star reviews come from people who confuse hype with quality or innovation, or in this case, a good meal experience. Da Caino focus far too much on extravagant presentation that covers no interesting or pleasant surprises....More
It’s supposed to be a gem hidden in a picturesque little village in Tuscany, and it almost is. They have had 2 Michelin stars for many-many years, thanks to chef Valeria Piccini. I had great expectations before the arrival (I stayed at their hotel “Locanda...More

The beautiful local ingredients together with masterful techniques made our dinner very special.
Many thanks to the courteous staff, the owners son and the very talented Valeria.
Una serata da ricordare.

Given its location we chose to stay in one of a few rooms connected to...More
