The best place to eat authentic food from Puebla. The chalupas were aweseome, and the pollo con mole is a must. The service is great, and the place is beautiful. I will return for sure!

We went for breakfast and had the Omelette poblano and Huevos Santa Clara. In addition they brought sliced watermelon, papaya and orange juice. All were delicious! They were very attentive and when we took our jackets off, they immediately brought us a rack for our...More

Google guided us to this place and it was a good choice. We were offered a selection of locally brewed Artisanal beer and it was excellent. We both enjoyed our food very much and if I could remember what we ordered was called I would...More

We were referred here by our hotel and there were four of us. My steak arrachera plate was very good and deserves 5 stars but the tortilla soup I ordered as a starter was definitely not the best. My wife ordered the chicken molee but...More

This is the original Fonda de Santa Clara which prides itself in offering a 'triple-mole' dish (green, dark, and brown) typical in the Puebla region. While not bad in any way, I wasn´t exactly blown away with the flavor of my dish. Ok, not bad,...More

We had our Christmas lunch at the Santa Clara yesterday and every element was delightful. The ambiance was traditional and festive, the service attentive and great food. Even leftovers for a lite dinner that evening. Some have called this restaurant a tourist trap but I...More

Good typically mexican and poblano restaurant. The decor and music are completely in line with the mexican vibe. The “enchiladas a los tres moles” (three types mole in chicken rolled tacos) was very tasty. But the Poblano cream (made with sweet corn and poblano peppers)...More

This is one of the great traditional Poblano restaurants, with all of the good and bad that goes with that label. That is, the food is excellent ... the elements of the buffet were all there... mole de panza, mole poblano, sopa poblana, carnitas, pechuga...More

This has been for quite some time the most recognized face or Puebla’s rich cuisine, as it had other branches in Mexico City. Nicely decorated, traditional atmosphere, and a menu full of the flagship dishes at a fair price. Friendly service, definitely worth the visit...More
