Everything in this place reminds me of the Puebla that my grand dad lived in, an ancient building restored and beautifully adapted as a "patio" restaurant with nice food and a very mexican buffet that you will really enjoy

Among the "treasures" of this city, la Casona is one of the best. Beautiful XVIIth Century house, which hosted the famous Catharina de San Juan (mythical character in Poblano history). Great place to eat and to stay

Yes, the serve chiles en nogada, but there are restaurants which serve better versions. if you check my other reviews of restaurants in Puebla you will find one within a couple of blocks of the hotel. Enjoy Puebla!
