We sat there at the late afternoon to have a coffee, I don't even drink coffee often but it was so inviting. From there you can breath the colonial Morelia. We also ate dinner and it was fine, not the best I have eaten but still ok.

Lu is a must to eat at when you visit Morelia. The breakfast offers a great variety. My favorite is the traditional Chilaquiles con verde con pollo. However the food menu for dinner or lunch is excellent as well. A must try is the Sopa Tarasca, which is layered with flavor. Seated indoors you avoid the passerby asking for money,... More

The best restaurant to eat regional plates from Michoacán.... but there's a thing you should know, the have the best presentation and the 5x2 simply the best appetizer.

Absolutely loved our meals here. Service was great - our waiter recommended a starter and dessert, both of which we probably wouldn't have chosen without the recommendations and both were a real highlight. I can't unfortunately remember what they were called though. The dessert was a kind of lemon sorbet with cheese etc! sensational! Good drinks specials as well. Definitely... More

Lu offers good food all day long. It's one of the best in Morelia and goes well beyond the usual Mexican dishes. A good place of experience a greater variety.

Great food and cocktails. The 5x2 started is great. Must of all the caramelized jamaica sope. The service is very good. The only thing not so good is the continues musicians from the street that sometimes are to loud and not so good. But is a part the folklore of the place.

Clean, open and airy appearance. Loved the ceiling to floor windows allowing lovely views of the Basilica and Plaza de Armas without the street noise. My friend loves the lamb. I had a New York Strip, which was flavorful. We shared jicami and Jamica tiny enchiladas. Lovely contrast of flavors and textures.

Service was good, but the arranchera was tough and gristly. Avocado was missing without explanation from my husband's salad despite being featured prominietly in the descriptionon in the menu. We sat outside and were entertained by the passing crowds, some of whom didn't pass by, but collected around our tables begging and soluciting. That was tiresome.

Missus and I visited for an early dinner. Service was nothing special, food was good and varied. Not the best dining experience I've had, but it was enjoyable.
