The place is very beautiful and the service is excellent. Some reviews said it was slow. Not for us. The food was very well served. My husband and I did not finish all the food in our plates. It was very delicious.

This is a very nice restaurant if you are looking for typical regional food. The personnel is kind and they offer a good service. The food is not amazing (a little salty), but it has good quality. I liked the environment eating in the outside terrace. Wifi available.

Everything we ate was perfect and service at the same level. Try the "capricho michoacano" desert its just incredible. Just one watch out the size of portions is large.

We enjoyed lunch at this centrally located restaurant in Morelia the capital of the state of Michoacan. Service was attentive and helpful. I opted for fresh water trout a speciality in this area some 6000 ft above sea level. My companions selected Mexican platters which were very large in my appreciation eventhough my colleagues managed to finish off their meals.... More

This family used to own 2 restaurants in town, now both are not what they were famous courtesy and quality of food. This food is pricy, some times you get the dish made right but some don't, one time after waiting for an hour they told us that the fish we order was finished. Normally you need to wait for... More

I returned to this restaurant and I was surprises that it was better that my previous visit. I had a beef and it was soft and delicious. There was live organ music that created a pleasant ambience. Dessert was also delicious. I highly recommend this place.

At first you get teased by the wonderful smells that come from the kitchen. The food is great and there is a great menu! Its a bit pricey though. Really recomended if your looking to eat some regional mexican food on your next trip to Morelia!

I think that Solar de Villagran is one of the most delicious restaurants in mexico that I ever been. The people were great and the food was awsome. The menu include chicken, BBQ, Hamburgers and a lot of Mexican Food. The piano man was very good too :)

When my husband and I arrived to the restaurant, we did not have a reservation. They were about to close since it was a rainy day in the middle of the week and they did not have many customers (in Morelia, restaurants are usually busy by the end of the week and during the weekends). However, they let us in... More
