We're regular visitors to Hope Cove so know the pub well but we mainly just have drinks as we camp and BBQ. We decided to have a meal on the Thursday before the August bank holiday. We got there early around 6.15pm and it was already busy but we got a table upstairs overlooking the sea. We had the frito... More

A lovely pub/restaurant, in a stunning location, with well cooked and tasty food and staff that cannot do enough for you. We ate here three times whilst holidaying in Hope Cove. All meals that were served to the party were beautifully presented, well cooked and tasted amazing. The food is also very well priced for what you receive. The crab... More

Warm summer evening and good tasty food, nice beer and helpful, friendly staff - all leads to a good evening. Ended up coming back three times. The last evening we went it was raining and so had to wait quite a long time for our food but everyone was working hard to cope with the sudden influx of people. Overall,... More

Staff friendly There is ample outside seating and large car park After day on beach walk 20 paces and your there...

We have been here quite a few times, and have enjoyed the food they serve. I must say though the prices of the drinks are to expensive and I can't justify the price. LONDON prices. They must think about this!! More drinks at a lesser margin makes more profit.

Well done to the staff! As soon as we walked in we knew this was a proper joint. We were half dead from a gruelling walk and needed urgent refreshments which were quickly provided. We found the young ginger gent behind the bar very helpful as the only remaining outside table by the pub had very high stools with it... More

Sat on Sun Terrace and enjoyed attentive waiter service. Drinks served at table and food served quite quickly. Was reasonable selection of good ranging from traditional fish and chips to chilli crab sandwich. It's family friendly with sand pit at end of terrace. Enjoyed this for laid back meal with amazing view of Sun setting.

We had a number of lunches here whilst on holiday, the food was fresh, tasty and good sized portions and there was a wide range of good local ales. Although not specifically a fish restaurant the local caught fish on the menu was very fresh and excellent quality.. The service was friendly, quick and helpful, we had 2 dogs and... More

We stayed in Hope Cove for 5 days from 6th August and ate here a few times. Being disabled, I did not tackle the stairs to the terrace. but we did have fabulous sea views where we were staying, so this was not an issue. We did, however, sit in the lounge to the far right of the pub with... More
