Based on the glowing reviews, we were looking forward to visiting this place during our trip. As promised, the grounds are a lush retreat in this pretty barren countryside. We sat under cover due to the threat of approaching storms. The fans are powerful and efficient at keeping the diners comfortable in the heat. We enjoyed having the resident dogs... More

We didn't know much about this restaurant and we turned up we were completely surprised and delighted! Beautiful farm setting complete with rescue dogs... Had the most delicious cocktails and farm fresh organic food. Also couldn't resist picking up some Mexican handcrafted gifts in the gorgeous stores. Not to be missed. Such a treat.

I say unforgettable because of the Gazpacho I had last year! I can still imagine the flavor. Last visit was in March and the beet salad was remarkable...I think we tasted everything that day and every bite was more delicious than the last. Flora Farms rocks it every time. Our kids ONLY want to go there to eat.

This place was recommended to us by a local during our visit. It was simply wonderful. The drive up was beautiful and the grounds were stunning. The staff from the hostess to the waiters were top notch. The menu was hard to choose from; as everything sounded delicious. The meal itself was superb.

The food was plentiful and delicious. Quite a few Gluten free options including pizza! The drinks were great too. Everything is fresh, grown on site or sourced locally. Great ambiance with farm table seating and a live band during dinner.

Burrata (heirloom tomatoes, mozzarella, ricotta, and croutons) for a starter, the house Sauv Blanc, bacon and tomato pizza for the main course, Tres Leches with honeyed oranges for dessert. 'Nuff said! Oh, and the garden tour, ambience, service, and camaraderie with neighboring tables were all delightful.

Thank Oggimon

( Closed Mondays) Floras Field kitchen is about handmade food using our farm fresh ingredients. Our goal is to create a healthy family meal with a sense of place. Our day begins at four in the morning when Jose the baker arrives to fire the wood oven. Working with sourdough cultures and pre ferments he makes loaves of Pain L'ancienne baguette, ciabatta, sourdough, focaccia, whole wheat and herb breads. Chefs, cooks, stewards, the butcher and farm hands begin arriving after first light. Throughout the morning produce comes in to be washed and prepped while the line gets fired up to prepare the first meals- through dinner there is harvesting going hand in hand with cooking. All meats served at Floras Field Kitchen come from our nearby 150-acre ranch where animals are humanely raised on diets that do not include hormones or antibiotics. In the evening, and for Sunday brunches, the wood-burning oven becomes Mamas pizzeria. We make Neapolitan style pizza with fresh mozzarella and dough that is built over time and handled lightly.
