H Bistro is quickly becoming our go to date night! The ambiance and decor feels so authentic, it was probably the inspiration for your favorite trendy date spot back home. Every single thing I have tried on the menu has exceeded my expectations, and we...find ourselves wanting to return sooner snd sooner each time. A must try! Super Yummy!!More

This dining experience was one of the highlights of our week in San Jose Del Cabo! The wait staff was very attentive and the atmosphere created by the art, lighting and overall mood made you sit back, relax and take in the experience. The food...was excellent and presentation beautiful. You can go wrong with this restaurant.More

The food and service at this restaurant are always consistently great. My husband had the short rib pasta. I think this restaurant must be know for their short rib anything because it is always good. I had the grouper and it was perfectly done. We...love H.More

We chose the H Bistro as a spontaneous adventure while attending the Thursday evening Art Walk in town. We are a family on vacation with 3 generations, including a 7-year-old boy. We all found interesting dishes to try. I had a tomato and beet salad...as an entree that was outstanding. The tomatoes actually tasted like a tomato! Our son had a pate that he said was the best he ever had, and he is in the food service business. Our grandson had spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were a bit too spicy for him, however, he loved the pasta. My husband had fruita de mare that he truly enjoyed. The only reason I did not rate this restaurant as a 5 is that the service was a bit off. Everyone tried hard, just had to ask for things more than once on a couple of occasions. Would definitely go back.More

From the moment you walk into this intimate restaurant just off the main plaza, you feel welcomed and relaxed. Artwork covers the walls, fresh flowers on white tablecloth. The menu offered a variety of fish, meat and pasta dishes that made it difficult to choose....Delicious, warm, inviting and a truly wonderful dining experienceMore

We have enjoyed several good meals here over the years. The restaurant is intimate, service is excellent as is food...although the beef at our last meal was a bit salty. Fine wine selection by glass or bottle, and the cocktails are quite good. It is...off the beaten track at the far end of the Arts District, but reservations are suggested.More

We stumbled upon the H Bistro by accident. Yet, their seemingly simple and somewhat sparse menu caught our attention and we decided to have dinner there. Very quickly it became apparent that this establishment offers fine dining and it caters primarily to some rather wealthy...domestic and foreign patrons. The foods and drinks are exquisite and they didn’t disappoint us in any respect except the monetary one. By the time we received the bill we realized that should be perhaps a bit more mindful of the prices we pay. They do charge close to US$6 per small bottle of water. So beware. Otherwise, this place is a hidden gem of SJDC indeed.More

H Bistro seats about 20-25 diners in this very attractive old restaurant near the top of the streets in the arts district. We always visit San Jose del Cabo’s Thursday night Art Walk when in Cabo, and we always visit H for dinner. This year’s...selections were outstanding including the Caesar Salad for two, my wife’s Risotto Prima Vera (the best she has had anywhere) and my shrimp Tagliatele. We finished with a shared creme brûlée topped with delicious fresh raspberries. We did miss the piano at the entrance this year but as the owner said, a paying extra table is better than a paid piano and player!More

Fantastic food, cozy, charming romantic atmosphere, great service! I had the tender short ribs and my husband had a great seafood cannelloni. it is a little hard to find so call them to be sure you can find it. It is a hidden gem!
