We had lunch at Guacamayas en San Jose straight from the airport. We were looking for a true Mexican experience and this place had great recommendations... The tacos are authentic Mexican style! I had a stuffed potato and it was delicious. Portions are really big and there are many salsas to choose from. I absolutely recommend Guacamayas!

We went to an early lunch and arrived just after they opened. We were the only people in the open air dining room. The fried cheese and stone bowls were ridiculous (we decided that we could eat this every day if we had the chance and our diets could tolerate it). Don't miss out on one of the best meals... More

The hot bowl was the most interesting and delicious dish! Ample amount of food for great price. Marguritas were great.

Had a late lunch here we had great expectations only to be let down on the flavor side. It is nonexistent. Tried the molejeti no flavor, bland have had this in many parts in Mexico this didn't cut it as well as the taco pastor. Just not there. Baja cuisine is not as flavorful as you will find in other... This restaurant has great food. We order food for 4 people and we still had left over food for another 4 people. The tacos al pastor were my husband's favorite plate. He order enchiladas en mole but he ended up taking them to go and gave them to our taxi driver since he was so full with all the tacos... More

Great place with great food. Not expensive and was perfect for a casual dining experience. Felt very safe and authentic. Try the tacos, but the "bowl" is what you want for your main course. It is a must for my next visit.

We planned on going to Taco Guss but they were close for cleaning. Guacamaya is close by so we gave it a try. What a disappointment. The pastor meat seems to be boiled but tasty enough. the biggest issue i have is the dozens of big flies that was landing on my food. all we did was try to swipe... More

We love Guacamayas! Always good food and margaritas. The stone pot is great, love fried cheese. This time we tried a stuffed baked potato and the kids were crazy about it.

I've been coming here for years and everything on the menu is fantastic and arguably the best tacos el pastor in Los Cabos. Well worth the time to seek it out.
