About
Our restaurant setting is in an open air palm leaf roof made "palapa". Enjoy a relaxing ambiance with scenic surf view, contemporary music, sea breeze and the sound of the surf breaking on the beach. Our "7 Seas" project is a gastronomical endeavor in search of exciting fresh seafood dishes made of fish caught from according to Jacques Cousteau "one of the great aquariums in the world": the sea of Cortez. Dishes are inspired from Old and New world, Oriental and Mexican legacies. As a complement to our main menu, we offer Mexican dinner specialties. Wine is carefully selected and brought from wineries all over the "7 Seas" from California, Mexico, Chile, Argentina, France, Italy, Portugal, Spain and New Zealand. Our bread, desserts, pastries and Ice Cream are made in-house by our talented pastry chef.

The balcony is perched looking out over a surfers beach with a beautiful beach view. The servers are very knowledgeable with recommendations of local seafood. We were lucky to have live entertainment from Jaielle, (similar to Dianna Crawl). The meals were delicious, I had seared tuna which came with a cucumber salad. My husband and mom had the lobster and linguini, they both said it was delicious. A couple of nice touches were the complimentary tuna paste on taco chip, complimentary sorbet to cleanse the palet and complimentary tiny cup cakes after we finished the meal.

We were lucky enough to get a last minute reservation for 2 couples to eat dinner here on a full moon night (perfect location for watching the moon rise out of the water).
We arrived to enjoy watching surfers catching a wave. The lovely hostess walked down the path and greeted us by name and wished us a happy anniversary (they actually read the notes in our reservation!).
Alex was an attentive waiter and had perfect recommendations for food and wine. I am gluten free (GF) and chose to go with the Chef’s Special catch of the day (sea bass). It was presented on a delicious quinoa salad that had some dried fruit and nuts in it along with thin crunchy sweet potato pieces on top. Hands down, one of the best 5 meals I have had in my life. My friends sea bass chef surprise was a different presentation, which she loved. My husband highly recommends the chicken mole enchiladas and our other friend thoroughly enjoyed the filet and lobster.
After tuna tartare 3 ways and a ceviche appetizer with GF tortilla chips, the girls were quite full. The guys however said the chocolate volcano cake with vanilla ice cream should be ordered. The best they had ever had.
We were a little confused with the bill/tipping, so asked for clarification. We were told the tip was too much (so we left a little more).
The guys had ordered 3 sea bass tacos (which again was great) but they couldn’t eat the last one. We had it boxed up for later, but instead chose to give it to our Uber driver, who was very appreciative.
Bottom line: just go, you won’t be disappointed!

7 Seas Seafood is our favorite restaurant in the Cabo area. The views of the ocean and surfer is the best anywhere. Their menu is very good and ALL the food has been terrific. We usually have our two sons 14 and 7 that are picky eaters and they are always accommodating.

We waited at least 20 minutes after being seated for our waiter to come over in the restaurant with not overly crowded. We finally got his attention and he said “ I am trying to fix my pocket ordering device it doesn’t seem to be working.“ It’s still took him five more minutes to come.
When he finally arrived, he was polite and took our order. And then took another 20 minutes for our salads to arrive. I complained to the person in charge and said the service in the kitchen were very slow.
The food was average but the bill was the most expensive in our 14 nights of dining out in the San Jose and San Lucas areas.
I cannot recommend The restaurants.

We decided to go to this restaurant because they have good reviews. Unfortunately we were very disappointed.
We went there around 5pm on a weekday and there’s only two more tables with guests.
We ask what he recommends for the appetizer to our server but he didn’t explain us much, just recommend the appetizer sampler, which is $24,
so we ordered that and some drinks.
When we saw the dish came to our table, we already decided not to order more food here.
The tuna was frozen tuna loin, the calamari fries are so thin and possibly frozen one too. Everything on the plates had so miserable presentation and tasted too bland. We paid $55 for two beers, two other non alcohol drinks and this appetizer and stopped order more and left because we didn’t want to waste our precious time of our vacation.
It is sad because they had great view, just their food is way too overpriced and underwhelming.
Maybe good place for just drinks watching surfers in front of you but please avoid here if you are looking for fresh seafood.

As a seafood grill restaurant we maintain the highest possible level of freshness daily so, it is a bit surprising to hear this. Loved the chocolata clams and octopus ceviche. Those got it the four stars plus nice view and location. Fish main dish was unfortunately overcooked. Wife's cesear salad with shrimp was okay but nothing special. Service was okay - waiter was not super attentive. Would like it better as a more casual surf \mexican seafood restaurant than as a higher end upscale restaurant.

This incredible restaurant was recommended to us by the concierge at our vacation resort when we asked for the best dining experience close by to where we were staying, and boy, did he get it right. Our waiter was Alex, the manager was Kennedy, and they and the staff bent over backwards to make our experience as perfect as possible, as we were seated right by the ocean facing railing of the deck above the scenic beach below with surfers and sun bathers enjoying the peaceful spot at sunset. We plan to go back again before our trip ends later this week.
While best known for its many fresh seafood offerings, we opted for roasted chicken dijon and filet mignon. We were not disappointed.

We looked forward to dining at 7 Seas Seafood Grille because it came highly recommended by a colleague. However, this was the WORST dining experience that we have had since arriving in this beautiful destination. It started with the seating of our party. Eventhough there were very few people in the restaurant, the maitre d' refused to place our party of three, nicely dressed in the first row of tables with the best view. Actually, I should revise that statement, he tried to place us at a small table with two table settings which obviously could not accommodate three people. When we asked if we could be seated at an adjacent table for four people, he stated it was reserved. We were initially seated at another table which was in the second row away from the primary view and the swimming trunks from a unit two floors up dripped on us and our table. We then requested to be moved again, and we were given another second row table, away from the primary sea view. We had to view the surfers in the sea through a growing party of half naked individuals, obviously a left over from a less formal seating at this restaurant. Many of these patrons did not have their shoes on their feet and they were still wearing their swimwear. Eventually, the entire first row of tables were full with individuals of European descent, everyone one of them. The service was extremely slow, even though the restaurant was far from full. We asked for water and did not receive water until after the entree. The waiters approaching our table changed as if there was revolving door. The sea bass did not seem to have the sesame crusted preparation that we expected. However, no one came over to ask us early on if we were enjoying our entree. These complaints were shared with the maitre d' before we left. Although there were apologies shared, the discriminatory behavior is far from forgivable. I will not return to this restaurant and will not recommend this restaurant to colleagues and friends. The service was extremely slow and in this case disrespectful. I asked to see the manager, however no manager ever appeared. There are plenty of great places to dine in Las Cabos and this restaurant is not one of them.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your comments. We have investigated all of these issues. Of course we apologize for the inconvenience they caused. Having a limited number of beach side tables is frustrating. We do our best with the timing of the reservations, although almost all of our seating has a wonderful view. Tono was acting as your waiter and our Capitain for the night and he did realize the situation. The guest above your table was also notified, but we realize at that point your expectations were not met. We do hope you will return to allow us to make up for these things, as we do have many satisfied guests and would like to have a chance to have you be one also.

I have been here many times and always have great meals w fantastic service. This week I stayed at the Cabo Surf Hotel for a few days so I ate breakfast, lunch and dinner here for 2-3 days. Everything is awesome, great food and great service. Special thanks to Alvaro...he had great suggestions for food and wine. Loved the Tuna Trio and the red wine from Chihuahua, Mexico. Thanks for having an amazing restaurant...we never had to leave the resort. And did I mention it’s right on the beach? We actually ate lunch on lounge chairs in the sand. Can’t wait to get back there.

Every morning while my son and husband surf right in front of this restaurant I enjoy the best servivce... Rodrigo and Carlos ,... THANK YOU!! and the best chilaquiles (with green sauce) I've ever had! ( and I've had alot ) My husband and son join me when they've had their share of waves. I think through our 4 days and 4 people we've tried everything on the breakfast menu and we've LOVED everything. The view of the beautiful beach and water is priceless. Every morning when Rodrigo sees me walking toward the restaurant he gets my ice cold diet coke ( coca lite ) ready. I love those guys and I love this restaurant. When you stop in please say hello from Patricia : )

My partner and I had dinner here as soon as we arrived into San Jose for some delicious seafood and ocean views. The mango and strawberry margaritas were perfect and we each had to have at least 2 and the food was incredible as well. We got Tortilla Soup, calamari, shrimp/steak/octopus and fish tacos, and a Tuna sandwich. Most everything is made fresh daily in house and you can tell by how everything tastes so fresh and pure. They also had a little sea turtle nest roped off right down on the beach which was super cool to see. Wish I could have seen them hatch. We will definitely be coming back to dine here when we visit again next year. Thanks so much!

A recommendation from a friend brought us into the 7 Seas. Right away the view and the woderful live music sets the mood for a wonderful evening.
Our waiters Michelle and Clara provided exemplary service. They allowed us to take our time enjoying a cocktail and an appetizer while taking in the view and listening to the electric duet performing a variety of genres.
Our dinner was amazing. We had the Seabass, Red Snapper and Tempura Shrimp all dishes were perfect, however, the Tortilla Soup was fabulous and my favorite. Our waiter Michelle recommended a delicious bottle of Selezionato wine from the Villa Montefiori winery from the Guadaloupe Valley and provided background about the wine. The extras provided (bread, chefs appetizer bites, sorbet and dessert bites) during the meal was the icing on the cake.
Clearly I give my highest recommendation.

me and my family came to 7 seas for a week vacation and ate at the restaurant almost every night. Every staff member at the restaurant and hotel in general were so sweet and accommodating. I had wonderful conversations with them and felt so wonderful getting to know them and how kind and cool they all were. One staff who was so wonderful and i got to know was Alvaro Vasquez, Every breakfast lunch and dinner he was there and always said hi and talked to me and my family. he was so kind and it always made the day better talking to him. Alvaro was so professional while also friendly and open to conversation and tips on places to go and visit. overall amazing experience.

We were very warmly greeted by Angel and he had our reserved table ready for us, what a beautiful setting! We started w/ drinks (mine a Mezcal specialty and partner a strawberry marg, I also had a marg later) and they were just okay. We had the seafood trio appetizer and it was beautifully presented and tasted even better. She had the Sea Bass in butter and garlic which I had some of, both that and my Mezcal Shrimp were outstanding and very generous portions. I'm sure we'll be back the next time we visit as it was a great meal and we couldn't have felt more welcome. The service was very attentive, if you looked toward the kitchen with a question or needing something they were there in no time. You really get the feeling it's very important to the staff that you have a special memory to take home.

7 Seas never disappoints from the quality of the food to the impeccable service and friendly greetings. Alejandra is a sweet hostess who starts your experience with a smile and friendly greeting. The setting is beautiful watching surfers and enjoying the waves crashing to the beach. Romantic setting.
Food is delicious with definite 5 star quality and 5 star service. Servers are attentive but not overwhelming.
