Slow service and the quality of the food has droped tremendously, it is sad as they use to have great food before...

Zippers in San Jose is a great place to stop for lunch after arriving at the airport. It is located on the Sea of Cortez along the corridor from San Jose to Cabo. Great outdoor fresh caught seafood and more with good service and excellent...views if the sea and often times whale sitings too! Very reasonably priced and ample parking.More

Great staff. Food was just ok for our tastes. We prefer more traditional Mexican food (and tacos made with flour tortillas did not meet that expectation)! Live music was a welcome surprise. It is difficult to review a place based on one order...but tacos are...pretty basic!More

We were so bummed ... wanted to eat here but ended up only being able to get a to go order because of our schedule. Eating right on the beach would have been really awesome. Staff was very friendly, and once we explained our predicament...they were able to get our food out on pretty short notice. I'd really like to try this place dine in the next time we're in San Jose del Cabo.More

You can't ask for better views! The location was very close to where we stayed so we just walked the beach to get there. Had quesadillas, shrimp, ribs, burrito, and coconut shrimp. (Went more than once) Be careful, the Margaritas are strong!! A lot of...fun in the evening with live music. Average is about $12-$15 a plate.More

We stopped in to have lunch October 22nd,2020 and were stunned by the beach side views. The staff was awesome and very friendly. We had a couple of Pacifico's, some shrimp tacos and a plate of beef nachos. All of which were outstanding. My wife...took a quick swim in the ocean and we were on our way. Great surf bar experience. Not an American eatery...how refreshing.More

My wife and I stopped here for dinner this past weekend during a short trip away from the kids and the office. The food was good, the price I thought fair, and the location a 10. I wish the surf was a little bit cleaner...so I would have made it out, but seeing how I live 10 minutes away from much better surfing spots, I figured I would capitalize on the leisure time instead. My wife and I shared the Chicken Nachos and some drinks. This was the perfect amount of food for us since neither of us was starving.More

We walked the beach to Zippers from our condo at El Zalate. It was worth the walk that’s for sure! We ordered the quacamole and chips appetizer, enough for 4 hungry people right there. My wife had the lobster tacos(3), which turned out to be...too much food for her. I had the ribeye steak, which says it comes with rice and vegetables, turns out a baked potato, 1/4 cob of corn, and a bun also is included with the meal! Needless to say we couldn’t finish it all. They have live music every night and you can hear the waves crashing too! A must try when you’re in San Jose del Cabo.More

Standard beach cafe with usual menu mexican and american food for gringo tastes. Nice mix of locals, tourists and expats. Very nice staff albeit service is a little slow. Came several times for quick lunches Fish tacos are breaded but larger portions. ( love the...roasted jalapeños). Portions are large with everything. Nothing special--very convenient. wouldn't taxi or drive for it. Views of both the rock and zippers (hence the name)More

It is probably better to drive. Not really pedestrian friendly on the highway. They do have a parking lot.

I also believe that they are open every day, especially in the 'summer' time in Cabo. You can look up their website with a Goggle search.
