About
Mi Casa is an Authentic Mexican Restaurant that has become a landmark in the heart of Cabo San Lucas. For more than 20 years we've been a focal point of traditional Mexican cuisine. Our sustained success led to our recent expansion and the opening of a second Mi Casa – this one in the center of historic San Jose del Cabo.

Thanksgiving! Went to Mi Casa for a traditional Mexican dinner on Thanksgiving! Out “Fresh Guacamole was not fresh and tasted really bad. We told the server and they did without question. The Ceviche had a strong fishy taste, which also indicated it was not the...freshest either. These were just starters. The fish of the day was snapper, which three of us ordered. All tasted very fishy again. We did not finish the plates as a result. My wife ordered shrimp tacos which were tasty, except the guacamole was bad again!! Same batch as what they served for the starter. This restaurant is obviously not using the freshest fish or avocado as we found out. It’s a very nice traditional Mexican atmosphere, but the food is not all good depending what you order. Quite expensive too, $109 US for 4 main dishes, the starters, 1 beer, and 8 small bottles water. One of the most expensive restaurant we have been too and not been happy with. My son has just woken up now with a bad tummy. I hope this will not be the case for the rest of us. Not a good start for our vacation!! I would not recommend Mi Casa. Sorry!More

Fabulous restaurant, easy walk from downtown Cabo, lovely atmosphere with a very large selection of gifts in their gift shop. Love the menu with selections for the vegetarian. I had the chili relleno which was delicious. Beware, sometimes people come to your table to do...tricks, draw your picture, etc. and expect a tip, Fun, but you can decline. Would definitely go here again.More

5 stars all around- the quality of the drinks, food and service are only match by the incredible setting of the restaurant...you will enter in el dia de Los muertos bar that!! You’ll never want to leave this place once you’ll try the ceviches and...other moles. The old ladies making fresh from scratch tortillas are awesome and made the best tortillas I had in my life. Also 13$ for a shot of clase azul...you’ve got to love it!! Juan and his other partner (can’t remember the name) treated us like royalty!!! Thank you!!More

This was by far the best restaurant we visited during our 6 days here. Ramses and Troy were our excellent servers. Beto, the owner, was very funny! We enjoyed everything we ordered! It was delicious. We are going tonight for our last dinner before we leave...in the morning!More

Visited in July 2020 with friends. Food was delicious - huge portions, so we brought home and ate again for breakfast. Excellent service, and staff all had masks. Cute little shops attached as well.

I make a point of coming to Mi Casa when I come to Cabo, which is fairly often. I just love it. The food is delicious (especially the verde chicken enchiladas and shrimp tacos) and I adore the atmosphere. Walls are festively painted, the seating...is mostly covered with thatch roofs that allow the sun to shine in and there are women making homemade tortillas nearby. The shops are replete with affordable, authentic items like glasswares, ornaments, toys, clothing, etc. I just adore everything about this place. Mariachi bands sometimes play as well to add to the ambiance. So fun.More

We loved this restaurant from the start (went 1st and 4th nights) so we planned another dinner. No drink menu according to the waiters, so ask them to explain their margaritas. Several good options for vegetarian/pescatarian couple. The atmosphere is bright and lively. Watched the...women make tortillas. I'm not a fan of gift shops in restaurants, but their stuff appeared to be nice quality and different from street vendors. Restaurant located off a pretty square that locals hang out in; worth the walk to Mi Casa.More

There was actually a mobile "house band" that goes table to table, they did a great version of Santana's Black Magic Woman.
