This was the best of the restaurants we visited in Cabo, so of course we went twice. The ambiance is definitely upmarket, but its' prices spread from $16 - 40CAD. They provide a 3 bread/rolls with 3 dips(spicy tomato, garlic & ?) included in the main course. Presentation and flavour was excellent. The bill came with a complimentary chocolate drink with a dash of rum. Mmm.
On the first evening it was quieter though there was live music. Thank goodness they know how to keep music "background" It was quite a mixture of relaxing music styles featuring some very melodic guitar picking solos.
The prices are for the main dish unstated vegetables are extra - $4-5CAD.

Prime location right in the heart of the of Cabo. Great friendly staff. Mauricio was our waiter and he was magnificent. Thinking Italian food in Mexico can be weird. But this place certainly does it right. Reasonable pricing for dinner and drinks. Cozy atmosphere. We had truffle fries, ravioli, chicken breast, a glass of wine and sangria for 45USD. Very reasonable servings for the price! The sauce is great. Really awesome. It’s been there for 6 years and wasn’t busy but we were there midweek around 5. Don’t let the light crowd scare you. After dinner they give you a complimentary shot of chocolate liqueur with a little cookie to top it all off!!! Italian in Mexico was actually nice. Check it out!

We had a very nice meal. Lasagna, Calzone an a Pizza for the kids. The food was excellent and service could not have been better. One can easily see the concern for the patron by the staff. We were given a desert for free and our wait staff were so friendly and caring that we still definately return on our next visit to Cabo. There was, however, a small error on our bill that was not noticed until the next day. We ordered 3 bottles of water and they brought 4 to the table. We told our waiter we only ordered 3 and he said he would correct the bill. He didn't correct the bill but he did take back the extra water.

I ordered their surf-n-turf with the mushroom pasta that was supposed to come with "magnum shrimp". If this is their idea what magnum means, this it is truly tragic. My plate came with 4 pieces of shrimp haphazardly tossed on top of my steak. They were U20s at best; a far shot from <U10 which is what any reasonable person would expect when thinking of "magnum shrimp". Unfortunately this was not the end of it. Both my steak and the shrimp were severely overcooked. I asked for the steak to be a medium rare and it came out past medium, almost medium well. It was incredibly tough and had no redness to it or blood when I pressed it. As for the shrimp, they literally could not have been more overcooked. Totally rubber; imagine pressing down on it with the side of your fork on a tennis ball. I politely mentioned this with two waiters when they (independently) asked how my food was. Perhaps I was too polite as they did not offer to remake it nor any remedy to this. My plate was sent back with two shrimp (my friend tried it to confirm) and 95% of the steak. It really pains me to write this because this venue and decor is nice and their pasta (which is handmade by someone else other than the kitchen staff) is superb. I just would not trust their cooks to do anything beyond tossing pasta in a pot of boiling water and looking at a timer. I ended up paying fully for the meal with no apology from the waiters, hence this review. And to the manager that may feel compelled to do some damage control by responding to this, no I would not like to contact you to resolve this. Your staff had plenty of chances to do so in more ways than one before I had left so this is a reflection of poor training on your part. That said, I will reiterate their pasta is good. You'll just be rolling the dice if you are bold enough to order anything that actually needs to be cooked. And hope to god nothing goes wrong with your meal because they won't take care of their mistakes in any way.

We were walking around and found this place for dinner. The hostess outside was nice and the interior and atmosphere was inviting.
We had a simple dinner of salad, gnocchi and spaghetti. They brought some small samples of baked items for us to try before dinner and followed up with a chocolate liquor after dinner.
The service and food were great and we were pleasantly surprised at the final bill.
We would for sure eat here again.
I will mention the only downside is the thumping bass you hear from bars across the street.

Staff were very helpful and polite when seating our family. Any questions were answered very well about the menu and before we got there this is one of the only Pizza places in Cabo that we could find my fiancée Gluten free Pizza that wasn’t from a fast food establishment. Our waiter Mauricio spoke very good English and was a delight to converse with will defiantly be going back next trip down for sure.

Nice to have a break from tacos - I had the mushroom and truffle gnocchi and my boyfriend had a ravioli in a meat sauce. While more expensive than a lot of places in Cabo, probably due to being a higher end restaurant in the downtown area, the food did truly taste authentically Italian. Service was fantastic as well.

After finding Pan di Bacco 3 years ago on a previous trip to Cabo, we returned on this trip and we're so glad we did! I cannot say enough about the quality of food and service at this restaurant. The taste and overall presentation are fine dining quality, but the prices are very reasonable.
On our second visit of the week we were served by Emmanuel. It was my wife's birthday and without a request, the staff brought her a dessert with a candle and wished her a happy birthday. Then the hostess (who has so fantastic) gave my wife a gift...a plastic lighted balloon! It was such a great experience, again.
I highly recommend Pan di Bacco and, for those curious about their COVID safety protocols, they take a temperature check, deliver the silverware in plastic and the entire staff wears masks.

Food was great. Service was also great.
Pasta is all freshly made on site and the prices were reasonable. I had the shrimp scampi fetucinni and my wife had the rigatoni bolgenes (made with short ribs). Both were great.
For dessert we split a cheesecake pudding that was amazing.
The only negative I can express has to do with the nightclub across the street. Their music was a bit too loud. However, that won't stop us from going back.

We had a nice meal here. The server was very nice, the food was flavorful and good, and we left happy and full. I would recommend this place for a delicious pizza or fresh salad. Great atmosphere too although somewhat loud due to the nearby clubs blasting their music, Still definitely worth a visit!

Pan di Bacco was wonderful. The food is fresh, well-prepared, and generous. Lorenzo our server was extremely gracious and accommodating. We requested some things specially prepared for dietary restrictions and this was done flawlessly. It was a great meal. Prices are reasonable, service is excellent, portions are ample, and it is overall a great restaurant.
As far as COVID protocol, everything was clean, things were handled with great care, and we did not feel any discomfort sitting indoors.
If you are looking for Italian food in Mexico, this is the place.

Where to begin. We have been to this restaurant a couple of times in the past and it was very good. Apparently, they recently changed names as did the service. What an UNPLEASANT experience. My first clue of many was that the hotel was unable to make us reservations because there was no answer, even after repeated tries throughout the late afternoon. When my friend and I entered, we were the only patrons throughout our dining experience. We both ordered 2 drinks from their $5 drink special menu. That should have been our 3rd clue. We sent one back and ordered a coke. They then brought another drink for her to try, we made it clear no the coke is fine. He insisted, Per the boss. We ordered our meal, 40 minutes later it arrived. While waiting for the meal we inquired if bread was offered as part of the dinner service, they said you want bread , yes we can do that. The gal making the pizzas had some cut up dough she re-heated in the pizza oven, earlier.we saw her eating the cooked dough. We also observed 3 members of the staff eating meals at the tables. During our meal the POWER WENT OUT. They were the only location. Again, we were the only patrons. We asked.for our check which they charged us for the cocktail we didn't want and since we had to pay cash, no credit machines due to no power, was unsatisfied with the tip and said $10 was mandatory. They were nice but no service, lack of experience running a restaurant. I would definitely not recommend

For me, probably the best restaurant in Cabo San Lucas. If you love authentic Italian cuisine, you have to try this restaurant. Top service - Bella Italia in Cabo San Lucas - Thank you !

I came to Cabo San Lucas for 1month to avoid the covid plandemic. Every day I would walk past this little Italian restaurant and would be greeted but this beautiful Hostess girl named "Lourdes". She always wanted me to stop by and try the food and drinks. I probably wouldn't have gone in if she wasn't there greeting people. I'm glad I did! Awesome spot to people-watch while you enjoy your drinks and food. Service and drinks were great, but the food was a small portion and expensive... Cheers!

I live in Dan Jose Del Cabo for 10 years now and was in Cabo and we decided to try this place, I wish we didn't. First thing to start off the unprofessional Host ( the blonde girl was rude.) We ordered pizza that was un cooked and cold, big disappointment. The same girl/ host was not happy that we complained. Not recommended...you would think with Covid and the lack of business they would embrace new customers. Funny part and Sad part is a few days later the same girl was outside and we were walking by and we asked to use the bathroom, she refused us entry.....Bad Karma for this place...Bad food..
