A local recommended this restaurant and he was right on. Funky atmosphere and friendly service. Our waiter was a kick....sense of humor and fun. The thing that might throw a new visiter off is that it is CASH ONLY. At a table near us a woman was waiting solo while her husband was going to a cash machine. Not sure... More

This place was one of my top pics during our visit to Cabo. The quesadilla and shrimp fajitas were both to die for. We also had a margarita and a mojito. My only recommendation would be to not order the house margarita, the low level tequila overpowered the lime and it was hard to drink. Just order a margarita with... More

I know that almost all the reviews for this place are super positive, but we were disappointed. We had the combo plate of flank steak, chile rellenos, and enchilada. My wife had enchiladas. The flank steak was cooked fine and had some spices. The other two were bland and tasteless. The enchilada was dried out. Portions were good, but the... More

The food is very good and offers you a great alternative to the many quality seafood restaurants in the area. It's more authentic Mexican food. Only issue we had is it so packed one night with a 30 minute wait so we made reservations for the next day. Quality musical group to serenade your loved ones or to hear either... More

We were very disappointed in Maria Jimenez. We had heard and read via Trip Advisor that is was really good authentic Mexican Food. First we felt very rushed by the wait staff and our particular server was not very friendly. We had to keep asking for the same items over again. The guacamole was delicious along with the sauces. But... More

Really good food!!! Highly recommend the enchiladas. We love spicy and red sauce with enchiladas is a bit spicier. You may need reservations to get in.

This is a restaurant that you need to know about in order to find it, but worth going off the beaten path for. One of the things we noticed when we first arrived, besides the quaint and authentic atmosphere (loved the big, bright paintings that punctuated the restaurant), was the sign at the front that advised customers that it was...
