When it’s after 3am and you’re hungry so you hit the street to see if any taco spots are still open, you see Gran Pastor is closing up shop, but Taco Guss is still raging inside. You order two pastor tacos to go, which costs you all of $3. (Yeah suck it Taco Bell, look at all I got for that) You pour a ton of red sauce onto your tacos along with all the other fixins, only to realize too late that that red sauce is mf’in 🔥🔥🔥(red means stop, green is go duh) and you begin to pour sweat and your mouth is ablaze. Fantastically good pastor though, and then do I realize that the cucumbers are to cool you down. ☠️🥵🤯🤔🥴🤡
Hmmm I wonder what the green sauce tasted like?😂😂😂

Every trip to Cabo I go to Taco Guss. They bring a big platter of fresh cut veggies and toppings free made just for you as well as over 6 types of salsas when you sit down. Tacos are fresh and inexpensive, tortillas are made right there to order. My friend and I had 2 shrimp, 2 beef and 2 fish tacos, bottles of coke and water, chips and salsa for only 15$

In our month long Cabo visit we went here 3 or 4 times. Every time the meal tasted great, the service was great and we left with a full stomach and not an empty wallet! The fresh grilled chicken is really good for the burritos, enchiladas and chicken quesadillas. The tortillas are fresh. They bring a large tray of vegetables and a tray of many sauces to add to you're food choice. It is a great value! It is the best mexican food we had in our Cabo visit. FYI, sometimes hard to find a table on cruise ship days but it is worth the wait or check back as they serve quickly.

We were a party off 7 and we order tacos we were disappointed when they gave us the tacos with no flavor bland os they come, the tacos off trip was not cook the fat still on them and we wanted to throw up we did not eat our food we where disappointed everyone in Cabo said best tacos. Not for us this was a -10 for us no tacos should be like that especially for the price they charge us . It’s so sad.

The tacos here are really good. We all had shrimp
Tacos which came out fast lots of guacamole to add at your own will and salsa with all the fixing. It’s $45 peso for one taco so $3 Canadian. Super good. Small restaurant but very clean and friendly. Highly recommend

met some American's theyre visiting for weekend! I'm new to Mexico guy screaming try Gus's tacos.I went right there! the server brought tray of fresh veggie fixings &sauce Nachos. thats a meal in itself Fresh! then U order Ur tacos 35 pesos each! 3 tacos bottle coke 130 pesos x6 $7.80 US. I'm from 🇨🇦 I live in san Jose but only eat Gus Tacos!!'♥️🇮🇪♥️ 2 locations side by side

Ladies and Gents, there are a hundred restaurants around Cabo, but there is only one Tacos Guss. You walk in and find a spot where a large platter full of toppings is promptly plopped down on the table as you gaze at your options a range of salsas is promptly plopped down next to it, endless sauces and topping combinations are created before your order is even placed. As you gaze at the wall to see what you want to order your mind begins to ponder the delicious goodies that await while your stomach begins to expand. A worker then comes by to take your order and the wait begins for the magic that is to come. As you wait you can hear the clinking in the kitchen as the tortillas are being freshly made, and the meats are being chopped up while the smell lingers over to your table making you even hungrier. The food then shows up, nothing fancy, just some nice Mexican food plopped on a foam plate, but don't be deceived, cause the toppings/sauces are ready to dress those bad boys up. The rest is up to you!
Seriously tho, AL PASTOR, Lengua, and Tripa tacos are absolutely delicious. Grab a horchata to help bring it all down, and try all of the sauces they bring to the table, while people watching as people stroll down the sidewalk. Don't forget the horchata.

This is a great place to stop after the beach for fresh tasty cheap tacos. Order them a la carte and eat as many as you can. It is definitely a no frills dining experience. They provide a standard condiment bowl and bring out your tacos on small disposable plates. Bottled beer and water are available. Don't be surprised to see dogs walking in and out. Its a fun and delicious authentic Cabo experience!

Usually we lost in a tourist trap you can’t find really good affordable food. Enter Tacos Guss. We order about 6 tacos and a couple drinks and our bill was around $14. Whatever you order you get both and tray of six salsas but also a tray of vegetables like cucumbers, pico de gallo, shredded cabbage etc. It’s fresh and so good. Highly recommend the arrachera taco. And then funny enough after we ate there the locals at our dive shop recommended it back to us. Definitely make this one of your stops! PS-they do have 1 restroom and limited tables. Go early.

I'm the first to admit that I haven't pursued the street taco scene in Mexico a whole lot, but before hitting Tacos Guss, I asked the locals where they go. Tacos Guss was the overwhelming winner. And it didn't disappoint.
I tried a sampling of just about everything they offer. You are brought out a large dish of veggies to add to your tacos, along with a huge tray of different salsas to add. Every protein was cooked perfectly and the build your own style was perfect.
Look, it's Mexico and if you are going to be eating outside, there will be flies. So just get over that issue before you go. One hand for tacos. One hand for swatting. It's going to happen.
And it's worth every bite.

By far most inexpensive and most frequently visited joint close to city centre and Marina in Cabos, with simple Mexican cuisine.
Pros? Price
Cons? Limited sitting and not frequently changed oil in deep fryer which is evident in food at times not properly drained leaving it soaked
Restaurant is also known for their incredible deals on Tuesdays
Recommend for quick grab of simple food on everyone budget.

Bright pink outside so you can't miss it and great food inside so you'll remember.
Try the taco plate with steak, chicken, pork, chorizo and shrimp with fresh veggies beautifully presented to customize your creations, but bring help to finish it all. Everything is prepared to order just feet away.

The service at tacos guss is amazing because it's such a small cozy place that they pay a lot of attention to your needs. As soon as you sit down you're greeted with a vegetable/toppings platter. When you order the tacos they come out really fast, be sure to ask for the sauces as well because it adds to the food.
I loved that the little restaurant houses hard liquor because why not, you're in Mexico! bring the tequila!

Dec2022: 5⭐: I decided to return to this spot with my family members to see if this location was still a decent spot to eat. We ordered a variety of items and drinks. I ordered the pineapple drink that I enjoyed before. We ordered the chicken enchiladas with black beans and burritos from the menu.
July2018: 5⭐: This is a hidden gem of a restaurant that should be fine when you want to grab a decent meal at a reasonable cost.
We were sent here by one of our tour operators and advised that this location and was one of the better authentic Mexican food restaurants at a decent price for this area. You can see by the pictures here that this restaurant is not fancy nor is it meant for those who are into the high end treatment. This restaurant is a great location for a laid back meal that is served with a variety of toppings that appeared to be a fresh cut plate. The beef tacos I ordered were cubed steak pieces and not ground beef which I enjoyed more than the ground beef. The pork pieces were cubed also. We ordered chicken and shrimp tacos in addition to the previously mentioned ones. I ordered a pineapple drink that was really great tasting that my spouse helped me to drink a 32 ounce cup.

After reading many positive reviews we decided to come here for lunch one day. Service was quick and there was a steady crowd of people the entire time we were there. The margaritas were a little different. I believe they add Sprite/7-up to it. The tacos were all good except for the fish which was bland and tasteless. Even adding salsa didn’t help. My husband loved the Al Pastor and my shrimp was very good.
