Was looking forward to a return visit to this place and we brought friends who had never been. One person ordered the short ribs over polenta, and the ribs were actually scorched. He sent the dish back and was not charged. I could smell that scorched smell coming from another nearby table, very unappetizing. Another person ordered Papardelle, and it... More

DOC is worth the walk from anywhere in Cabo San Lucas. The pasta (especially what they make in house) is all exceptionally good. I've had 4-5 different varieties including the 4 cheese, carbonarra, and 2 of the house made (can't remember exactly what style). It's a very small, intimate setting. Yes, the wine in Mexico is expensive (anywhere). If you're... More

What a nice surprise to find exceptional Italian food in Cabo. From the Burrata appetizer to our three pasta dishes everything was truly delicious. The owner delivered us three complementary after dinner drinks that were homemade and also exceptional. I highly recommend DOC.

We ate at DOC, which used to one Cabo's best Italian restaurants, Dec. 21 and were very disappointed with the food. We ordered a caponata appetizer and were brought a soup cup-size portion for two people. Four our entree, we ordered the widely recommended chicken cacciatore, a dish that I've had hundreds of times in Italian restaurants across the world.... More

Had the pleasure of meeting the chef Polo and went to his restaurant to check it out. We basically had a late lunch in the afternoon. The location of the restaurant is very good and is easy to find. We visited DOC in October on two separate occasions. Wow, wow, wow!! The food is amazing. The chef prepared his delicious short ribs on polenta for our dinner one evening. Oh my gosh, so amazing.
