Excellent food and ambience! Downtown Cabo restaurant. Pretty courtyard with lights hanging from the trees. We had the tableside Caesar salad and it was the best! We had the Mexican dish for two, a lobster dish, tortilla soup, and Bacon-wrapped mozzarella stuffed shrimp with bbq...sauce. All of our meals were excellent! Highly recommend!More

I’ve been coming here since the 90’s when it was called “The Trailer Park” It has changed some over the years but the food is still delicious - lobster is my favorite. It’s smaller now Caesar salad is not made tableside and my fav waiter...“Tommy Lee” was not working there anymore. It’s still a must for me on every visit to Cabo!More

we have thanksgiving here with family every time in cabo. This time we had 14 people and had to split into 2 tables but with Covid what do you expect. They still did an excellent job. My kids even ate! 10 year old had chicken...strips and mashed potatoes. My 8 year old cheese quesadillas and mashed potates. My 9 year old, she had a filet mignon. older adult kids had lobster tails as did my husband. I had ribs and coconut shrimp. Got to talk to the owners alittle bit about their other restaurant, Bajo La Luna ( we will be trying hopefully next year) love the trees and lights!More

The atmosphere and service were excellent. Cesar salad and soup were very good as well. The main course was very good but not excellent. Ahi tuna and Large Shrimp. Overall worth a try.

We live in San Jose Del Cabo and asked around for recommendations for Thanksgiving dinner. La Golondrina was recommended so many times we decided we must try it. We were not disappointed. This long standing restaurant has a charming outdoor garden setting with lighted trees...and decor. Their Thanksgiving menu was traditional turkey, ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes, etc., and it was all freshly home made. Since they couldn’t offer their usual holiday buffet, they offered “seconds” (and more) of everything—all you had to do was ask for more and they brought it to your table. The food was so delicious—truly one of the best Thanksgiving meals we’ve ever had. We highly recommend this restaurant for Thanksgiving, and we plan to try their regular menu soon.More

La Golondrina was the perfect outdoor dinner spot for our group. The ambiance was perfect with the beautiful trees and lighting throughout the patio. The food was fresh, well prepared, and very tasty. The drinks were also expertly made and very reasonable. Overall we would...highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a quiet, neighborhood restaurant.More

We heard good things about this restaurant on the forum and decided to give it a try. The atmosphere is pretty with the lighted trees and the staff was friendly. We ordered drinks, calamari and had their corn soup which were all good. Then our...main dish meals came, out of 4, 1 was good. We ordered the BBQ Chicken, Chicken Wow, Chicken Fettuccine and spicy fettuccine for the vegetarian in our group. The BBQ chicken was so tough I couldn't even cut it. I will say the mashed potatoes were good. The chicken wow had a weird taste to the sauce and the chicken fettuccine had a weird gritty texture. We were pretty disappointed as we had been hoping for a really good meal and experience. With so many other consistent restaurants, we won't go back.More

La Golondrina is an outdoor restaurant meaning The Swallows, The staff are fluent in English and Spanish, know every menu item, and are very friendly! The meals are large enough to share, and sometimes enough to take back to the hotel. We found the restaurant...by accident while walking around Cabo, now we look forward to our next visit. It is only open for Dinner!More

We have been enjoying dinners here for years . It is a giant courtyard with many trees illuminated by strings of little white lights. The menu is written on a whitewashed wall. The food and service are excellent, and the wine list is extensive. Our...most recent visit on February 29, 2020, proved that La Golondrina continues to excel. Five of us enjoyed watching a server prepare Caesar salad at our table.More
